Have you ever heard of right person wrong time? Just because someone is your ex doesn't necessarily mean they are a bad person. Situations happen. Collage is a pain in the ass, people get separated, mental health problems happen, there's so much that could happen. If your ex was abusive ofc don't go back to them but I mean there's no reason to not go back to an ex because of a different situation. Imagine finding your soulmate and not being able to date and marry them because you guys had to live in different places? Sometimes long distance doesn't even work. So I guess the moral of the story would more be: Don't pour your life into someone who doesn't even put an ounce into yours

Not only leaving her fiance at the wedding was bad but she left her maid of honor and presumed best friend out to dry to be the one who has to not only break the news to the fiance but also to the rest of the presumed wedding guests. That was just as low as her actually leaving. It was nice to see him at the end with a new lovely young bride that really appreciated him. And he said it best back to Sarah. He may have forgiven her but he wasn't about to go back to her. Especially NIW that he found someone that is appreciative of him. Always reminds me that a man that one woman will take for granted with another woman will cherish and appreciate him and know that she's lucky and blessed to have him.

One thing I have observed and learned in my 41 years of existence is that one of the main reasons people keep going back to cheaters, losers, toxic friendships and relationships is that in order to move on, these people have to first love themselves. The cycle is hard to break if you do not find your identity, and love you for who you are.
When you love yourself for who you truly are and how valuable and influential one can be in another person's life, the right people will not be dismissed.

Yeah, he dodged a bullet on his wedding day when she left him. Cause it would have been a whole lot worse if the marriage would have continued. She would have cheated on him and then end up in a messy divorce. It saved him not only a lot of money, but his sanity. She did him a favor that night.
