    You have inspired me to grow Desert Roses.
    Lost a lot along the way. But, I have 15 or 16 babies.
    Way too small to lift yet. Maybe later. Every 5 months?

    I don’t know what kind of mulch you use but I don’t see any mulch in your soil mix. All the mulch available to me is in big or long shredded pieces.

    Im confused she said 60 mulch and 40 compost, but in another video she said 80 mulch and 20 peat. Which is it?

    • @btlan6121

      I know What you meant because on one video she also recommended 70 mini barks, 20 potting soil, n 10 coco peat.

    Maria, my desert rose is getting buds should I feed them with something to help them bloom?

    • @MariasgardenGarden
      @MariasgardenGarden  Před 2 lety

      Susan, your deseert rose dose not need any blooming fertilizer ever. in the first month of winter trim each branch if 2" or bigger and place cinnamon on the end and wait 10 days then apply glue on the ends .

    Is this ad a SCAM?? Everytime I see something that seems healthy and good for you it ends up that someone is selling you something and it is usually something that does not work. They sucker you in and there is no way to pause of FF.

    Hi Maria, as usual another good video. Enjoyed it immensely.
    I received desert rose babies today. One is in a 2 inch pot with a caudex of about one and a half inches. Kind of crowded don't you think? Can/should I do an emergency re-pot without disturbing the roots? Just to give it more room until spring?
    I'm in TN and my babies are putting out new leaves in the house. I'm using a grow light. They forgot they are supposed to be sleeping I guess.
    Should I re-pot the one in the two inch pot? Thanks

    Hello Maria I'm new to your group. I fell in love with desert rose plants last year. bought 2 in March & another this March. The 2 bloomed beautifully through Dec into Jan. then the 3 from April into June, some into July. They've been dormant since then. I was worried yes they've been yellow leaves and brown spots and yellow edges but after watching this today I understand they're in a good place. I did water them yesterday but think that was a mistake after seeing this. They're only in direct sun about 2hrs a day facing south. Do you sell your potting mulch/soil? I'm in a small apartment , I don't have the area to work and mix etc.
    I think I've come a long way and I really don't want to screw them up as they grow larger. can I send you a picture of them?
