#GruffRhys #SeekingNewGods - Hudba
My 2 and a half year old girl absolutely loves this song, She calls it the norny norny norny song
This was a nice start to the morning here in Indianapolis.
Saw Gruff last week supporting The Villagers at Iveagh Gardens in Dublin. The man is a legend and that drummer is an animal!!!!
Loving the 60's /70's Retro West Coast vibes here, albeit with a modern twist and echoes therin. Excellent.
The Welsh Ray Davies
Yeah, that’s a good comparison for sure! Still releasing beautiful tunes after “all this time”... I like it!! 👍🏽👍🏽
@Emyr Humphreys .. Lol I like it. Even better!
@@philipnoblethe3rd695 A real genius and the greatest songwriter living (well, producing anything worth listening to)
@The Rain I wasn’t directly comparing on this particular track but in general. From the first SFA LP, he has just struck me as Davies like.
SFA were one of the best U.K. bands of the last 25 years and Gruff is an amazingly talented man, from films, talks, writing, music. So gifted and an absolute creative legend. Would just like SFA to get back together for one more album and tour.
Peace and Love
Wats sfa? I tried googlimg and no band came up
Googling
@@legiongamerworkbruhben6058 Super Furry Animals. You need to have a listen to them, as they’re Gruff’s former band. I think you’ll like them. Peace
@@thehumblegent cool
Probably the best 👌
Met him after the SFA gig at the Barrowlands in Glasgow at an aftershow party..... smashing guy, very nice and humble. Good drugs back in the day too!
Two decades as my number one favourite artist of all time (& forever), flowing in constantly fresh creative waters - Gruff, I love you and we only have 14 hours to save the earth 🌍
Dude. You are so far out man. Where have you been all my life. Just discovered you on the BBC.
Only as far as the opening section and I know this is gonna be good!! A breath of Fresh Air!!
Catchy tune! Cheers Gruff from the South Wales Valleys... butt!! 😁👍🏽👍🏽❤️
I appreciate this positivity on a Monday morning (here in the States). Thanks Gruff! Awesome tune, you guitar maniac.
Musical genius. SFA are one the greatest bands ever and Gtuff Rhys is exceptionally talented love this track and album keep churning out awesomme dtuststuff please gruff, need another sfa albumASAP
Viva Gruff!
Good Times are among us again.
just the other day i was thinking it's roughly time for a new gruff rhys project. we can always count on gruff!
6 music thoughtfully played this track. Very good.
This is what love sounds like.❤️🙏🏽
I’m going to be playing this on days where I need some positive vibes ! Lovin it ❤️
Hello Hammy?
The glam rock tune that Belle and Sebastian never released. Awesome.
it's a winner.
It has a lot of essence of super furry animals, I would love the idea of a new album with all the members reunited after more than twelve years without seeing a new studio album.
Something has obviously gone very wrong there... I thought they were just taking a bit of time off to do their own thing(s) but now I'm starting to think we could really have heard the last of them...
@@ricjuk Apparently a common thing is bands not "breaking up" so they can keep the individual professional clout as a bandmember of a popular band vs an ex-member.
They are back together but without Gruff. Put out this brilliant single last year under new name Das Koolies. czcams.com/video/S41DTo8PzmY/video.html
@@clivejames6918 yeah it's a great song but it's not (and can never be) SFA without Gruff... And the fact that still remains all they've released in over a year tells me it's not really a serious prospect as a band. Hope I'm wrong though, I'd love to hear more from them.
@@alanboyce5210 yeah those tracks were awesome and I can't wait to hear more. Just makes me sad that Gruff obviously doesn't want anything to do with them anymore for whatever reason(s)... I remember reading (in that same interview) where they stated Gruff had 'fucked off' again and they didn't know why... Real shame - as great as they are solo, they were always best together. And apart from anything it's an even bigger shame if they don't get along anymore...
the best, most consitent song writer in the last erm working it out,,,,,,,,25 years approx...oh. and i still have the birthday cake you passed to me in harrogate (the posh , tory loving place)....despite that it was an ace gig....love to the proletariot
Cool tune..... It's like the later years of Beach Boys (Smile) album with a splash ELO and Simon & Garfunkle. Keep good melodic rock & roll alive. ✌
This song energesizes me! What a drive! Thank you for this song!!!

@@Patrick-gf5xg Agree 100%
Lovely song... for some reason it reminds me of Robert Wyatt`s version of "I`m a Believer " So, in other words, class !
Brilliant as usual

Cant wait for the 21st May - you just know you'll never be disappointed with a new Gruff album!
Good day sunshine, but in 2021, so about loneliness
ahhh Gruff.
There making drum machines really good these days!
Who's playing bass on this track? it's fantastic.
Savage bass line in fairness 👍
I think it might be Stephen Black? He sometimes plays with Cate Le Bon too.
I’m not sure at all but that certainly looks like guto from sfa. I’m probably wrong, though.
It sure is👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The bass player is pretty good but that drummer is really good also! I can’t think of a single bad moment on this album.
That is absolutely wonderful. Reminds me a bit of Hillage (in a good way obvs)
Good this is mind 👍🏼
grande gruff
Dwi'n ffwcin lyfio fo.....✌🏾
Da!
Album (and signed postcard) dropped through my door today.. Aye, that's right, my B-Max has a CD player.
Fantastic - reminds me of Robert wyatt
Love it! Nice one Gruff!
Hello Graham?
R6M directed me here. Great tune on first listen....👌
I have visions of Ronnie Lane doing his chugga boom type shuffle to this, he’d love it, just like me 😛
bendigedig!
Gwefreiddiol! A stunning track! Love it!
Strong, also catch Gruff talking up Welsh contemporary art (eg Brenda Chamberlain) 'The Story of Welsh Art', pt3 BBC i player, presented by Huw Stevens (cousin?).....
Opening sounds like McCartney and wings, also Queen your my best friend and a Fleetwood Mac song , can't think of it , but TUNE
Yes the opening reminds me of Magneto and Titanium Man :) Also super melodic like some XTC songs. Great influences and entirely original at the same time.
Hi?
