Never heard of this movie. I just watched it and it's very good. The movie starts off slow but I could not stop watching. Definitely worth a click and view⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of the best series I saw on Netflix ever. When you once have seen this level in intensity and emotion. It is difficult to see series which are from a different and much lower level in realism and intensity. Netflix needs to be aware that this is the level what makes Netflix unique en special. In the end, it is all about quality. And Quicksand proves that even series from Sweden can be superior to most series from the US.
Those actors were not fake beauties and that was great. I need to read the book. It's more drama than crime, but it's very involving even if you are not a teen anymore

I think the reason for the name quicksand is a metaphor as to how quickly she sinked/her life disappeared once she attached herself to him. Basically a complete downward cycle

Both scenes had me teary eyed, I finished it in one day and it was absolutely moving. I felt for all of the characters, even Seb.

Watched it and it's amazing, way better than I thought and way better than this trailer. It's not about a teenie romance, it's just part of the things that happen after. Really intense and thrilling, I couldn't stop watching. The show reminded me a lil bit of the sinner (also an amazing show on netflix btw). Thank you netflix for providing such a good mystery/thriller/drama show!

JUST BIND-WATCH THE SERIE AND IT WAS SO STRONG AND INTENSE AND THRILLING REALLY GREAT JOB AND REALLY NOT ABOUT ROMANCE THE STORY WAS ALMOST TO DARK, IT IS A CRIME, DRAMA, TRAIL, TEEN 16 + SHOW AFTER ALL. (Tho I saw it in english audio sense the actors actually speak both in original swedish and English by the same voice) easy a 4 of 5.
Watch it! It was actually great! People here are hating because it’s a typical “falls for the misunderstood guy” series, but it’s really not! He seems like the perfect guy on the outside and is really a psychopath so WATCH IT!!!!!

He actually was a bit mad. If you watch the series his dad abused him so he took drugs to calm himself down.
His girlfriend (the main character) wanted to stop him but he didn't listen and would always party and even raped her. He got mad to the point where he killed his dad and the same day took with him a gun and shot his own class.

Kinda bugs me that the title is "Quicksand," while the Swedish title is "Störst av allt" (Greatest of all). The latter seems more suitable honestly. Anyways, grew up where the series (and book) takes place so it will be kinda interesting to watch actually.

My only problem in this show was how come maja be released completely. She had shot someone even if she didn't intend to do it. My opinion is that she must be imprisoned for at least a year or two.
why maja couldn't be imprisoned: the prosecutor didn't hand in the right charges, played too high. the defense nailed it.

So good I knew nothing about him before. I felt sorry for Samir. He was the only one who cared for her. It was cool to see something different and fresh than american fake boobs, fake lips and blond hair. Sweden did great job.

I started this morning and I’m already done,this show is so good I even cried
This show is amazing i binged all of it honestly it absolutely captures you and you just can’t seem to stop watching the twist and turns the show takes.
One thing that really makes me fall in love with this show is the realism that is presented in this show abuse , rape , isolation and mental health issues they use all them and created a story that makes you love and hate Sebastian at the same time knowing how crazy and abusive he was but also how much pain he was in .
Though out the show maya is really shown the impact on her life Sebastian had at some moments you will think she had so many times she could have ran away and left Sebastian but she couldn’t because in a way she truly loved him and him her it is and absolutely haunting love story that so much pain and tragedy was involved and Maya had to suffer a lot to her mental and physical state due to it .
It is truly and amazing show that absolutely captured me and made me feel so many emotions .
Just wanted everyone to know- Felix who plats Sebastian is actually an artist. I would recommend to check out some of his songs: Every single day, Imprint, Lovisa etc. They are good!

Generally fond of Swedish entertainment industry. Found out about this show by Molly Sanden's tweet of a song snippet. Decided to watch because of Felix Sandman and got caught with the storyline. This one is unique with the way it is presented and stands out with authenticity.
