The Harmony “Through-the-floor” Wheelchair Home Lift is the ultimate solution to regaining the freedom of your home, allowing you to move between floors quickly, quietly and safely.
Our unique design conceals the lift mechanism in the left hand guide leg ensuring no unsightly components on display on either floor. There is no need for a lift shaft or floor pit to be installed.
The lift is fully self-contained, with minimum alteration to your living space. It is simple and economic to maintain. The Harmony lift is easy to access due to the low floor construction, even for self-propelled wheelchairs.
The smooth, unobstructed interior of the carriage makes it easier to manoeuvre a wheelchair into position and can be fitted with ergonomically designed grab points to aid entering and leaving the lift. The internal controls are easy to access and allow you full control of the lift.
The car is designed with colour co-ordinated trims and lighting built into its sides providing a spill of light at floor level when arriving in a darkened room as well as a pleasant ambient lighting level for the user inside the car.
As the lift comfortably arrives in the upstairs position, the under-pan seals the aperture providing a fire and smoke barrier. This provides a half-hour rating of fire protection to the aperture, whether the lift is parked in the upstairs or downstairs position.
On exiting the lift, the control station on the wall allows you the option to send the lift back to the downstairs position freeing up space in the bedroom. In most cases the original floor covering can be built into the lift canopy maintaining the look and feel of your home.
The safety of the user and those around the lift is of paramount importance. The full under-pan is designed as a safe edge, meaning that any contact as the lift travels down will immediately stop the lift.
The neat, unobtrusive canopy prevents the lift rising or travelling any further if any object is causing an obstruction. All leading edges are touch sensitive and will also halt the lift if contact is made. If there is a power failure, the lift has a battery backup allowing it to descend safely.

We will survey your home and recommend a suitable location for the lift, create the aperture in the floor, fit the power supply and fully instruct you on operation and safety features. All of this is provided in a few days to a programme agreed with you.

I would like to know what happens when you're upstairs, how the person gets out and how the higher floor should be in order to let the person in wheelchair move in it. Otherwise, it's just giving anxiety, to me at least.
