The quality of water was acceptable for previous test races. But i suppose it rained before this one and the quality went under the acceptable level. That's why they are building retention basins : to collect rain water and prevent it to join the Seine directly, with the wastes they carry on the way.

@@julien7705 , it rained the entire night before fyi, however the organization should not rely that much on weather conditions -- so sad to see that we can set-up a triathlon race without swimming stage ....
