Croton MEGA HIT, thank you for this beautiful drama, now my favorite chinese historical.Normally, I dont care for historical dramas because they are filled with all the backstabbing, lying,killing etc.What set this one apart was the great acting of everyone. Those who were evil did so well, I dont know if I could ever watch them again. hahaha
But the magic of this drama is the love story of Weiyoung and Tuoba Jun. Whenever they were on the screen together, you could feel the intensity and realness of their love. The way he looked at her, just made me melt. When the chemistry is so amazing, as the audience, we wish it to be real which rarely ever happens. That Tiffany Tang and Luo Jin are officially dating is a dream come true as their fan. Congratulations to this beautiful couple and may your life together be filled with so much love, laughter and joy and awards for best actress, best actor, best drama....and babies!

2nd from assassination with TJ and last from being killed by changru.

可以感受得到拓跋余對未央是真心的愛，即使未央對他絕情，拓跋余還是毫不猶豫的替她擋刀。他的愛是扭曲的無庸置疑，但也是因為生活所逼，這些經歷造就他現在的性格，很可惜他是男二，如果最後未央能教他什麼是愛就好了...。南安王是我最喜歡的角色😢

What a Masterpiece. Words cannot express my sentiments on this drama series. The writers were awesome. Imagine Wei young and touba jin went through so much trouble and tribulation with her family. Although touba jin died he knew the Wei country was in good hands with Wei young and his son. I love all the cast in this drama. Excellent actors. This one is a 10 hands down.

I’m not ashamed to say I ugly cried throughout this entire episode. Usually I’m good with not crying during movies and tv shows ( unless an animal is involved because if so all bets are off imma cry hard if an animal is hurt) but this show really got me. Such a beautiful tragic love story

This is the third time I'm watching the Princess Weiyoung and I fell in love all over again. I loveeeee this C - Drama. I love the actors and actresses. I love the love stories. I must say it's one of the best drama in recent years. Each plot moves on quickly without being drag out over several episodes. Every characters, the good and the bad, played their part extremely well. To bad there weren't a better ending.

I was just researching some of the names in this series and a lot of this drama is actually based on true history-they got many details correct-so, in a way it is a bit of a history lesson as well with what was happening geopolitically at that time. The romance dialogue between the two is very well done. Even though the constant framing in the plot seemed a bit overdone and there were a few far fetched or cheesy scenarios -This art really is a beautiful gem and insight in to ancient Chinese culture. You can not help but fall in love with the characters and admire Chinese ancient culture. I really love it!
wish there was another drama or film piece featuring their next lifetime’s love story being reunited and getting to live happy lives 😭 Goodbye My Princess have done something like it ❤ the ending song where Touba Jun passed away “If Heaven Has Compassion” translated to explain Weiyoung’s grief and mourning after this final episode and that she will wait for him and i believe it’s implied time flies and she becomes old and will join him soon in the afterlife for their mark of reincarnation. my interpretation is that she is reflecting and reminiscing every moment and the song subtly hints what i said

When they were still working on their 4th DramaSeries "THE PRINCESS WEIYOUNG " before the end of 2015.. And they announced their relationship on Tiffany's 33rd Birthday in December 6, 2016.and while THE PRINCESS WEIYOUNG was aired at time..and They Got married after their 5th Drama series "THE WAY WE WERE " in 2018, They were merried in Vienna Austria on October 28 2018..and Tiffany gave birth to a baby girl in early year of 2020..

At first, I was so eager to skip to then end bc of my curiosity & to save myself from agony haha, but now that I reached the last episode I don't want to this to end yet.. This episode made me cry more than I have in years, how I wish they both could have a happy ending, also this series should have been called spitting blood, weiyoung is like the only character who has not. This ending did not satisfy me, but now we can really see what a strong character weiyoung is. I also want to point out that this is my second time watching this drama, it still did not bore me. I hope we can see more dramas like this in the future.

Exactly my thoughts. Instead of dragging the sad ending by just showing Jun Suffering, they could've showed the Prince of Rouhan and princess Di getting married. The ending was way too painfully unnecessary. They could've had a better happy ending.

Loved this drama except for it’s sad ending. As per the character played by Princess Weiyoung, she is known for her brilliant ideas.
She could have come up with the idea of making antidote either by using her blood (after all she took the antidote) or by finding the formula for antidote left by the General. She is not a person who would give up even with out a try. A wishful thinking after all 😢😢😢
But she did not know how severe it was because he was being treated for the poison. He kept that part from her.

其實李長樂沒有多愛拓跋浚，如果真心愛他，在對方知道自己才是殺害太子妃的兇手後，應該是害怕、心虛、不知所措，可是她沒有。李長樂對拓跋浚的感情是夾雜著許多對李未央的競爭心理，看她結婚的表現就知道，把李未央踩在腳底下的快感似乎更大一點。
也算是有演技的。。
Basic English Summary:
1. Weiyoung learns that there is only one antidote.
2. Changru discovers the secret tunnel and attempts to assassinate Weiyoung. Tuoba Yu protects Weiyoung an dies (guess he is good for something). Tuoba Yu says that nothing matters anymore - if he can't have the world, he'd rather die. Yu then tells Changru sorry and dies. Changru then commits suicide (as much as I hated her character, I have to applaud her devotion... wait... but what happens to the kid?)
3. Doctor says that he can't cure the prison, but only can temporary suppress it - Jun has from 5-10 years to live. Jun is already really happy with the extra time.
4. Official Wedding (finally!)
5. They talk about never giving up on each other and how they have finally reached this point and are together.
6. Minde feels happy for Weiyoung. The servant runs up to Minde and acts frantic saying something about the Princess. He runs back and freaks out/breaks down. The princess is actually awake XD - they promise too get married. Awww the princess is still counting the kisses (it's at 101 now btw)
7. Weiyoung's family comes to visit - Jun has kingly duties though and has to attend to courtly matters.
8. Jun's dad's name is finally cleared - he is posthumously declared as a king
9. Weiyoung her "mom" and "grandmother" rise in rank.
10. Changle is visited one final time by Jun - she is to become a peasant. She finally admits to killing Jun's mother. Changle is offered poisoned wine as a alternative to becoming a peasent (she wants him to personally kill her - but he says she is not worth personally killing...(ouch... burn). She chooses death.
11. Juntao and Chende - they got married XD Juntao: "can't you walk faster >:(" Chende: "slow down, slow down (slips ) can't you act more like a girl D:" Juntao: (Glares) Chende: ":D girl, every much like a girl..."
12. Poison is acting back up again. Weiyoung brings in their son (awwww so cute). He has learned to write his own name. Jun then teaches Weiyoung how to write better (cause her words are supposedly ugly XD). Jun tries to hid the poison from Weiyoung, but she knows... Weiyoung then claims she was pretending not to know how to write well so that Jun can teach her forever (she was joking).
13. Tuoba Jun is reaching the end of his life - doctor says there is no way to suppress it anymore. The doctor tells him that it was a pity he didn't take the antidote himself rather than give it to the queen - he could have made the kingdom even more glorious. Tuoba Jun replies that if there was no Weiyoung, the kingdom would have no meaning to him. He doesn't want her to know this, but she overhears. Jun is talking about how he regrets that they won't be able to grow old together and that he won't see their son grow up... etc.
14. Weiyoung and Tuoba Jun plant even more flowers - the lanterns that WY drew and Jun made are hung up in their favorite spot among the flowers. They play a duet on the "qin". Jun is reciting a song/poem about how couples stay together forever. He then dies TT_TT

Despite watching this drama for the 6th times, I still can't help myself crying uncontrollably. This drama touched my heart so much that I could felt the pain that Weiyoung & Touba Jun were facing. Excellent acting from Lou Jin & Tiffany and also Vanness Wu. Good cast. 👍 Never ever get bored with this drama eventhough with its sad ending. 有时候问题只是出于演员声线和角色不符 或者因为演员来自两岸三地
直接配音比较统一 配音可比现场收音成本少了很多 而且耗时也大大减少
不过不排除有的台词功底不过关 但这剧里面的人其实也没有很差
配音挺顺耳 何必再纠结演员呢 总比看脸和声音配不上好吧

Life is funny ain't it. The one who never wants the throne, runs away from it, often is the one who has to take it to carry on the family rules etc. I really felt the anguish for Wei Young. watching your loved die slowly, and keeping it a secret is even worse. Their love was remarkable. This series I have seen over 10 times. An am in love with it still. characters are splendid. Thanks for english translation.

編劇不是腹黑,是腦殘,拍一下白芷就死了,壞人難道不會拍一下未央嗎? 一堆劇情都是脫褲子放屁,殺人來冤枉未央來讓她被判死罪? 殺她還要繞那麼一大圈? 不是壞人腦殘,是編劇跟導演智障,一堆老掉牙的套路,整個故事大綱很棒,但一堆害人橋段太爛太白癡
