- Hey dudes and dudettes!
What is this? A random video I made of my own accord that is NOT part of an MEP, a birthday video for someone or a tag? WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?! xD Seriously though, the last time I uploaded a video just for the sake of the video and not because it as an MEP part, a birthday video or so on, was when I uploaded my Basil & Robin video and that's more than a month ago x'D Grr, MEP parts, you're taking up most of my time! Well, actually, school is taking all my time, I love the media subject because we get to make movies, but that's the reason it's stressful to begin with! Do you guys have any idea how long it takes to make a 10 minute movie?! And we had like 4 weeks to do it and now there's barely 2 weeks left Dx Wish me luck for that exam! xD
So, about the video. Ever since I got to know this song, I thought it'd fit Frollo and Esmeralda because... because blasphemous title that's why! xD I also got to play around and experiment a little with the liquify tool in this one. It worked better at some scenes than others... cough xD
There's no real plot here except what you see; Esmeralda and Frollo are in a relationship. They like to tease each other as you can see in the beginning where Frollo is trying to be all serious with his book, but Esmeralda makes a comment that makes him blush (god, what a weird sight, I almost left it out because Frollo blushing gives me ambivalent feelings xD) You can also see Frollo teasing Esmeralda back when he sneaks up on her in the cathedral :P
Frollo has even introduced Quasimodo to Esmeralda, the boy he took in years ago when he found him as a baby and Esmeralda even saves Quasimodo from the cruelty of the town before Frollo can, which makes him fall in love with her even more. By the end of the video, Esmeralda and Frollo have gotten married with the blessing of both Clopin and of course, Quasimodo.
I've wanted to include Quasimodo in one of my Fresme videos for some time and finally had the chance with this video so I shoved him in here and there x'D Hope you Fresme fans like this! :D

Geez, this is spetacular! I never thought in my life that I would be able to see Frollo as a good guy ... and of actually appreciating the idea! The scenes with Quasimodo made everything even better to watch. I'm just smiling right now. ❤️ And amazing job with the manips, the details are incredible! I loved the character's expressions, specially Esme's ones. :D
Let's be honest here, this what Frollo sees, instead of what happened in the movie...
it's literally the opposite of the movie it's weird..but this video was really well made as if disney did a test run of what would happen if they made the film happy.

It's almost refreshing to see a video where he's genuinely nice to her, rather than... well, his usual self.
That's one of the main reasons why I love editing with these two! It's a challenge to make such a disgusting, evil man try to seem kind and gentle. I like the challenge of it x)

This is sooooo cute!! I love videos that manage to make characters like Frollo or Lady Tremaine look like good people/parents, and you used the best expression at the best moment all the time. I also love the relationship you're implying Frollo and Quasi have. And when he introduces his lover to his adoptive son. Aaaah I don't know, it's just so adorable and sweet, I love it! (the only thing I would have liked better is if the colouring was slightly less grey... but that's your artistic choice)

AiraSora It looks really grey to me thought, with less light and colours than in the movie
CaptJosmy Well, I can't really do much about that :P I like this coloring which is why I chose it. I haven't removed any colors when I made this coloring. In fact, the way I made this coloring was to give it a more purplish effect, then a yellow tint and final some glow. Maybe the glow is what makes it look grayish to you.

Amazing clever editing. There are very few shots of Frollo where he comes off as 'nice' so you did a great job. This is my favorite movie and though I don't like Fresme, at least it's interesting and I love any good edit. However, I wish editors would avoid the blinking lights as it very difficult to me to watch without feeling sick.
It was nice to see Quasi in there, as a loved adopted son blessing the union, and Clopin officiating the wedding. Like a complete alternative universe!
Also how you took the angry moments like when she was captured in the Court of Miracles, and made her look really turned on! That's brilliant!
I'm sorry that the blinking lights make you feel sick, but if I have to be honest, I probably won't ever edit without them :/ When there's a very obvious beat in a song then I think it's necessary as an editor to show that you're aware of your song. It's for example a pet peeve of mine if I'm watching a video with a song that has a very clear beat in it and an editor totally ignores it. It personally puts me off the video and my personal points for the videos goes down.
With that being said, I really am sorry that the small flashes makes you sick, that's most definitely never the intention from me or any other editor :)
Don't be sorry! It didn't make me really sick, just a little uncomfortable, and it actually got better after the initial 20 seconds. Loved it. I've actually watched a lot of your vids without noticing it, so it was probably just something brief. You're great and never change!
