It is tough to say anything about the incident until and unless an internal inquiry is conducted, though for the news that was spreading regarding Pakistan copying the Brahmos, there isn't anything left on the target site after a missile crashes into the ground, because with such a huge mass and enormous acceleration, the missile is disintegrated into minute pieces of a few cms at Max. Very difficult for anyone to even identify if that missile was Brahmos or just a normal missile. Also, if Pakistan really claims that the missile had gone out of control, or if it was a planned attack by India, it is a surprise that they didn't shoot down the missile, which would also indicate towards the weak missile defence of Pakistan Armed Forces, a point that is to be noted. Those HQ-9s and HQ-16s may probably be just toys that were sold under the Made in China sticker 😂

@@firohot5476 I don't think there was ever even a thought given to a retaliatory strike. Firstly, there weren't any troop movements near the border. Had there been such a thing, just like what the Russians were doing on the border, a missile that lands on the other side would have been taken as an act of war. But in this case, since there wasn't any other significant movements, it wasn't the case. Moreover, Pakistan knows its capabilities. They would never do a retaliatory strike unless of course the missile had a warhead and destroyed something really important. Because if they did, it would have been a full scale war, which would have ultimately lead to the disintegration of Pakistan.
