I sell my artwork on Etsy, and made some packaging videos. I LOVE seeing how other artist's package their work, I love how everyone has their own version! This felt like such a treat to watch. Your work is so lovely.

Man, that's a great tip for asking about the cut-out space at framing places! I'll have to hit up a couple of spots near me and see if they have scraps for sale, because I worry about my poor little babies when I send them out into the world without a big, warm, backing board hug. Even in reinforced envelopes.
Hi, 2015 Madame Auclair! Thanks for your tips! I'm sure you've found and shared more since this!

If they're big enough, you could buy a clear case for your phone and use those scraps as a case (trace your phone onto the scrap, and then draw your design, and place them behind the clear case!), or you could make little pencil covers (idk, I do this often... I'm weird and I like to do weird decorating things) Pencil covers are covers you design so that it can go over the boring old wooden pencil. You just roll the paper to fit over the pencil, and draw a design on the paper. Then, you can tape or glue it and place your pencil in it so your pencil can have your very own design. If you want to go the normal way, you can make a bookmark too XD

Not sure if you will see this post but I found your video super helpful! I will hopefully be selling my art soon and couldn't find any useful information about packaging until I came across your videos so thank you so much! I wonder though what type of shipping method you use and what not. I've read about insuring your artwork, do you do that? My pieces will be between $100 to $200. Also is there anything else you do to your pieces when you drop them off at your carrier? Do they reinforce them in any way or send them a certain way so they don't get bent or ruined?
Thank you for your help if you see this!
