This was an awesome watch... It'd be cool if you guys could also do a people's profiles of lesser known Steppe conquerors such as Tamerlane and Nurhaci, there's barely any CZcams content about them, especially since Nurhaci was basically the guy who set in motion the founding of the Qing Dynasty of China
I’m stoned and just opened CZcams and fuck it I’m gonna watch this right now
Same dude
Something a teenager would say
welcome.
yeah might join you
you bastads.. I've given up.. it's hard
The pronunciation is always so good in these videos, it mustn't be easy! Great stuff guys
It is if your British 😉
😂🤣Good one
The names of Mongols are so badly mispronounced.
Truly grateful and appreciate your work as a humble person from a poor family to be able to watch this kind of quality content for free is just amazing
Robot voice
An empire built from the ground up, strong foundations. Thanks for the video.
I am so happy that you are diving into East & Central Asian history.
Channel always felt very Euro & USA centric.
I'm gonna listen to the The Hu after this
I am amazed every time I read another book or watch a show on Genghis Khan to Kublai Khan. How they went from tribal steppe to emperor's overnight and allowed religious tolerance is amazing. We could learn from religious tolerance.
we could learn even more if we got rid of religions altogether
@@TheSnoeedog oh like how Communist China, Soviet Russia and Khmer Rouge Cambodia did which led to genocides in the name of atheist Marxism right or like how North Korea currently brutally oppresses anyone that is caught being religious?? Maybe u should go look into what the Chinese Red Guards did to religious people and religious centers such as Buddhist temples doing the cultural revolution or what the Khmer Rouge did to any Cambodian Buddhists or Christians in the name of atheism and because "religion is the opium of the masses" according to Karl Marx, or why not look into what the Soviet Union did to the Russian Orthodox Christians or to Russian Jews or Muslims in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan... U edgy atheists really are ignorant when it comes to human history... Atheism is as guilty of persecution, oppression, suppression and violence as religion is... To act like atheism is pure and more moral than religion is historical fallacy
So let's learn to tolerate fairytales and ignorance? Nonsense
I've been waiting for yall to make this video for literally 2 years
Thank you!!!!
2yrs... 😅😅😅 You could have founded it in KINGS AND GENERALS CHANNEL
Whenever I hear the words 'The man known to history...' i know I'm in for a good time. Thank you very much.
Genghis Khan! One of my favorite historical figures of all time, and such an excellent documentary of his life! I felt like I watched the Great Khan’s whole life flash before my eyes in perfect audio and video sync. Well done!
Favorite?? This tells all about you.
Genghis Khan is top 5 Chads of all time
@@DeadlyBulletAz oh stop it with ur fake morality!
Scum
It's crazy how one man was able to conquer from Asia all the way to Europe and still have enough men and supply to beat an army there.
Unreal!! That's exactly what I thought when this thumbnail popped up can't wait to listen to your channel cover this
Temujin crushed his enemies, saw them driven before him, and heard the lamentations of their women
Calm down Conan lmfaooo
@@johnloewer4871 You do realize that in the Conan movie he did not make up the quote, the great Khan did
@@Paradox-vk9fe fun fact of the day I just pictured Arnold talking shit lol
With all that murdering and raping it's a wonder he had time for anything else
7.50 a.m enjoying breakfast and watching The People Profiles newest vid, since I fell asleep last night before it was uploaded 😁
Documentaries on history of Mongolia are getting better and better informed. It attests the fruits of recently-revived and popular research on the subject. I'm glad. A few years ago, people could make up anything that came to their wild mind and fantasies because there was not available research and publicity to check on.
Just wish they'd focus on the other Steppe conquerors like Tamerlane and Nurhaci, as well as Queen Tomiris who united all the Scythian Steppe tribes and went toe to toe against Cyrus the Great
Great video guys you really study and dig deep in history for history that other channels don't keep them coming 😮😊
“If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.”
- Genghis Khan
Yikes!
Genghis Khan GODS WRATH as old christian chronicles describe how swift brutal no mercy he is on his enemy
if your a lord of a city or castle you got 2 choices surrender you will be speared vandalized or suffer his wrath(many choose this kwarizam sultan learn this in the hard way)
Khan is kind of my favorite Military Genius
He's easily my favourite. The Ghengisid Mongols were nothing short of spectacular.
The most comprehensive account of Genghis Khan out there. Splendid work indeed!!
Absolutely fantastic.
I've always found Genghis to be the most fascinating historical leader. Millions died when he roamed central Asia and beyond, but it's still awe inspiring to learn about what he achieved from a military perspective. I also like that he was tolerant to religious views despite having his own pagan beliefs.
Thank you for the video 👊
Amazing guys! Love your content! Thanks For this ❤❤❤❤
Finially... I've been waiting for Temujin
I’ve been waiting for this one!!! Whoooo!
Excellent video & documentary & good portrayal of one of the greatest rulers. Many thanks.
Funfact : Genghis Khan created one of the first international postal systems, the "Yam," which revolutionized communication across his vast empire-a fascinating detail often featured in ancient history documentaries
A video about one of my favourite historical figures AND narrated by my favourite People Profiles narrator? Is today my birthday?
Maybe you can do wu zetian as well. The first female empress of China.
I’m obsessed with ancient history I always imagine what it would’ve been like to live in certain ancient eras I wish I could experience that
Mongol empire didn't have a small chance against Iran empire that time but the motivation they had to conquer was awesome so they did conquer Iran
Genghis Khan is such a Legendary historic figure. 👏🏻
"If you surrender we will let you live" is the last words heard of those who surrendered a siege by the Mongolians
Dude he had more parties than even I could do.
The greatest empire
this man made it into bill and teds excellent adventure!
The greatest conqueror of all time, and one of the most important people in history.
Shaka Zulu would have something to say about that greatest conqueror of all time tag
Absolute Chad, conquered most of the known earth and spread his seed to billions of people. Genocide is moral in war because a show of domination is what a great military leader must display.
Also the greatest ecologist in history entire forests grew back bc of him
Huns, early ancestors of Mongols spread their sperms in BC. Stop believing fake histories.
Thank you for uploading this video. I love stuff about people like Genghis Khan. Thank you for uploading stuff. Could you do a video on More medieval stuff?
Glory to Tengri, Lord of the Eternal Blue Sky!
HOT DIGGY DOG, he did it again thanks 👍👍
"In heaven there is only one sky and on earth there is only one rule"Genghis Khan
From rising of the Sun to seting of sun there shall be only one rule that is. "Genghis Khan- The oceanic khan"
One of the greatest men I admire the most
All I can hear is Ted Nugent
I could have sworn that I've seen this already
Hey @The People Profiles.
Could you share with us the Tracklist/song names of the traditional Mongolian singing in the background?
Enjoyed this
I enjoyed your presentation loved the music and even though there was immense killing that was how the world formulated itself
This is good but i have to go conquer my laundry.
Amazing video
So This is what Gets Me How don't they know Genghis Age SPECIFICALLY but they have Specific Knowledge of his Predecessors and Actual Acts??
Maybe because noone knew how great a person he would grow up to be at his birth. The later events were against well established realms with a long written history, which the mongols (apparently) first began with Ghenghis Khan and his introduction of a civil administration.
We dont know when Genghis was born, but we know how big his uncles turds were on August 3, 1152
While I understand that the content on this channel is generated by men and their interests, I must say I am a bit disappointed if not very surprised that this video contains zero references or information about the daughters of Genghis khan and their importance in the building of the empire. He was a very forward thinking man who granted imens power to his daughters, and the daughters in turn made sure that his territories were well ruled.
The Mongols were the Atom Bomb of Medieval times
All we got to show for this is Mongolian beef at the food court.
Amazing
Heil Genghis Khan 🐐
Dude had fun with more women than my whole family Tree did.
You mean s. assaulted more women
The problem is that the woman didn't enjoy this and didn't ask for this
"Fun"... yeah OK lol
I share a bloodline to him through my Chinese side but there's millions of Chinese that do. It's nothing special lol
@@rotemyagel4683Wasn’t a problem in his day.
Man they grew up fast in those days.
It would be a lot less confusing if you just called him genghis.
It's all the difference names when he is building his power......his brothers. Adopted father, generals...,..I lost track. But once he is GK is my favourite part of his story
@@Louis-si4ci I lost track to the point where I just turned it off.
Ghengis Khan for President

Woke up looking for the broccoli
🗣🥦
This one is hard to follow lol
I have a Mongolian nose lol .
Such a fascinating warrior. Btw Putin needs to give most of his land to Mongolians if he wants to talk about who owned what lol
is it true Genghis died from syphilis that he contracted while living on the sacred mountain?
Huchlug of the Naimans was Christian. Queen Burte was not daughter of Ong khan. Rather from a small tribe his mother was from. The subjects of Genghis were not of turkic origin to begin with. The beginning of the narrative deviates from secret history when it comes to origin of the people mentioned and their relations, and secret history is the only source that mentions about such details. Other than liked it very much.
The East has the greatest Conquerors of all time
That was amazing 😂😂😂 I feel validated 😂😂
Endless ads which prevents falling asleep. Bye
Cruel and one of the worst leaders that commit a lot of genocide
he was all of those
34:35
"What great sins must you have committed for your God to send me as punishment." -Ghengis Khan,
Genghis was a conqueror, no doubt. But what did his empire leave the world? Nothing.
Ended the middle age and enforced era of Reinancance in Europe.

Mongol rule collapsed in Persia and China in less than 100 years. it didn't drag on for centuries. what does the vastness of the empire have to do with anything? the British or Spanish empires were much more vast and separated by thousands of miles of ocean! the Russians and later Soviets conquered the area and held it for much longer than the Mongols. an inventive and adaptive group should have been able to adjust. i don't think that the Mongols had a 5 year Plan muchless a 25 year Plan to run Eurasia? why would they care about sustainability and adaptability. i doubt thoughts about the long term trajectory of entire civilizations and regions ever entered their heads. the Mongols were all about the use of violence, instability, and exploitation of populations.
I have no doubt that you could have done so much better. Please, go on with your revisions, I find it so interesting...how long would it take your rule to collapse in Persia and China? Oh wait, I forgot, you're just another internet tough guy hoping nobody calls you out for being a ridiculous jack-off....never mind.
Continue...
A cruel depots
👍👍👍 Genghis
i am still laughing to the fact that they all are dust now. Like if u understand.hahaahahahahahahahahahhaah.where is jenghis khan now? he has become dust.hahahahahah

✌️ ❤️ 🤍 💙 AMERICAN WARRIORS 2024!
Mexican history America is not there home fun fact 🇨🇱🇺🇸
This kind of content is REPETITIVE. hahaa
lately the videos in the series have become impossible for me. They are too winded, overloaded with details and lack a core narrative about a person discussed. I realize that sometimes one has to go back to set a stage for the main story of a character, but when names, dates, insignificant plot twists are mentioned one after another without a true core plotline the video becomes super boring to watch. I am a subscriber and I will continue to check the videos a few more times, but if the style doesn't change, I'll have to unsubscribe
Good bye, enjoy the endless scrolls through CZcams, sometime people actually just want a history lesson and not just a short story that every other history content creator does..I'm sure this group of history nuts will not miss you
It's a shame Trump doesn't know any history. He might actually learn something
I love your videos can you do Ottoman Empire of Sultan Sulieman please 🙏
