Agreed, I felt that The Last Goodbye lost a little bit of that euphoric Odesza magic, and shifted to a darker reflective mood, which wasnt bad, but it didnt whisk you away and make you feel like you were floating space full of happiness which is what I loved about Odesza. This song brings it right back and Im here for it. Cant wait for the EP.

@stevens8744 personal opinion.Just saw Last Goodbye preformed live and it was sooooo frickin magical my brain almost couldn't even process it.Also that album has some beautiful stuff on it.Artists are allowed to venture out of their normal sound ya know 😅

I got confused and I was like ohhhh ok, I think "Break HIM" is actually "breaking." So then the chorus is talking about being taken for granted and breaking down for nothing which makes sense.

I've researched in several places... and most of them show "Break Him", I confess that I didn't understand that chorus.
@@__NataN I mean if you're looking it up online I'm p sure the lyrics are auto-generated maybe? It just makes total sense imo "You're taken for granted" "You're breaking for nothing" "You're forsaken" it all works. Also like itd be weird for the lyrics to have a specified pronoun because it seems like the song is about the general idea of like trying really hard for others and them not giving two shets, not a specific story from the singer. Just my thoughts!
