  • Here's why the once-popular Motortrend/Velocity show, "Unique Rides" officially ended. Although it is true the actual shop "Unique Autosports/Worldwide Autosports" still seems to be open and functioning, the show "Unique Rides" has ended. You WON'T believe what happened behind the scenes! The show was set for the 4th season but the owner of Unique Autosports, Will Castro has parted ways with the network. What I noticed most about the show was that it's client's seem to be only celebrities, mostly rappers and basketball superstars, or affiliated with the younger hip hop world who were having their high end cars blinged out Lamborghini's Ferrari's bentleys Porsche's unbeknownst to the customer they were actually devaluing their cars with cheap aftermarket or homemade parts making re-sale almost impossible,

    • @williamharmon3076
      @williamharmon3076 Před 3 lety +2

      @MIKE OXLONG I think you're missing the point experts that specializes in high end collector cars as well as retailers and restoration specialists have spoken on this topic many times, the vehicle is valued more when it's left in its original condition, meaning the way it leaves the factory, adding customized items like stereo systems extra speakers,and new upholstery with different logos, changing rim's and tires devalues the car, when purchasing a high end exotic classic, many restores look for original parts that are hard to find, and some owners save the original parts for when they decide to sell they get the maximum price, also don't forget these cars are considered investments not just status symbols and demand higher premium when they return to the market. And by the way hellcats are not considered a high end collector/or exotic car, a muscle car yes, a AMERICAN straight line performance vehicle, yes but they are in the same class as European performance cars porches Lamborghini's Ferrari's McLaren's Bugatti, Aston Martin etc. etc.
