You probably have heard Swedish music before. Somewhere like 25% of all pop music made today is done by Swedish producers and songwriters. They write for artists like Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, Maroon 5, The Weeknd, Lana Del Ray, Lady Gaga, One Direction...etc. There are also some internationally famous artists such as; Avicii, Swedish House Maffia, Tove Lo, Zara Larsson, Robyn, The Cardigans, Ace of Base, ABBA, Blue Swede (Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack), Europe, Roxette, In Flames, Sabaton, Hammerfall, Ghost...etc.
That being said the music played in Swedish tend to have a different style than our Swedish music export. Just like this song the Swedish lyrics tend to have deeper meanings and at least I find that they feel more personal and emotional. Some classic Swedish artists include Laleh, Lars Winnerbäck, Veronica Maggio, Håkan Hällström, Kent, Ted Gärdestad, Monnica Zetterlund, Magnus Uggla, Gyllene Tider, Darin, Lill Lindfors.

It’s about a relationship where the guy wants to move forward fast, whereas the girl wants to move forward slowly. She explains that she wants them him to think “bigger” about their relationship. She wants it to last for years which is why they should act slowly but steadily, which they can achieve by improving their relationship before they move forward. Another Canadian here who also discovered you from Eurovision. Your performance of the Husavik song practically had me in tears. Love your voice, and enjoying discovering your Swedish music as we don't get a lot of exposure to international pop music here in Canada.
