Hi, just found your YT channel and appreciate your knowledge of straps for the various bags. I was hoping for any tips/advice on something. First, you need to know that I have a very painful inflammatory degenerative condition of my body and it also heavily affects my bones, muscles and joints so I HAVE to have the best straps as I am almost exclusively carrying bags CROSSBODY now. I’m about 5’5’’ or a little less and weigh about 154 LBS. I am drawn to the LV Side Trunk as well! I only carry a few items on the daily. Do you know of any good aftermarket strap that would match the patina of the vachetta leather on the bag? It would be great if I could find a shoulder pad that the strap slips through. A lot of info here, sorry. Thanks in advance. ~ stephanie

The side truck does have some weightiness to it on its own. I would think that it may be one of the heavier bag since it’s a truck. Honestly it’s a bit bigger bag for me as I’m 5’1/139. When I wear it, it bumps a lot along the way. Nonetheless if it’s the bag you want I would get a bandolier strap that thicker. It’s monogram, not vachetta but it would definitely be more comfortable. Also the guitar strap but again depending on the one you purchase in terms of color.
