Great video! I haven't played much of MK8 Deluxe, since I owned a Wii U and got my MK8 fill there, but I agree that these courses definitely help hold over until MK9. It's a shame that so few tracks used Anti Gravity, but I'm happy that some of my favorite characters like Funky and Birdo have came back.

Glad you enjoyed! The character selection is definitely much better! One thing I didn’t mention was that I didn’t really play MK8 that much anymore but this DLC gave me a reason to come back. It’s just a shame they didn’t often live up to the base game’s quality.

Yeah when it’s all laid out like this, the DLC was very hit or miss lol. It’s conflicting because it really dilutes the online play experience, but at the same time there’s a good chunk of new courses that are close to the quality of the base game. I guess it’s worth it to have courses like Maple Treeway or the Rainbow Roads, but sometimes I do miss how pure online used to be 😅

I’m a little surprised they didn’t lock the DLC cups behind a separate online option. That’s what they did on the Wii U.

Toad Circuit 3DS certainly does suffer from being Toad Circuit 3DS

There are worst tracks at least, I guess

I'd argue that Petey deserved his spot in the DLC since he adds another member to the Metal weight class, which previously only had a pitiful 2 characters in it.

Would you look at that, another person falling for the negative stigma against Tour tracks all because they hate Tour. Can't enjoy a Tour track as much all because Tour sucks.
All you complained about was the graphics, and scaling as if it's really that bad.
Blud even criticizes Athens because he can't get used to the alternating laps lmao.
You deserve all 14 city tracks man.
    Bye and no offense lol.

Graphics and scaling are universal issues but as I mentioned in the video, I think some Tour tracks aren’t too bad at all. It’s stuff like Tokyo and New York that I mostly find boring due to their designs. But even London isn’t too bad.
Not sure who Blud is but as someone who plays Tour occasionally, I don’t think they’re all terrible. It’s just that they’re probably the weakest tracks in the DLC.
