My Grandfather owned a farm & had a few trucks. Because we lived Midlands side of Shropshire we use to buy used GUY trucks from a tanker company. Always had Cummins Engines Eaton drive line 13 forward gears with splitter & because they were from a fuel company had Exhaust box under the bumper. Sounded better than modern day Girls trucks. 40t + a bit overloaded they’d do 80 -85 MPH on motorways & pull like a train & because we always had a tag axel fitted to frailer They’d Stop. Do Edinburgh & back in a long shift No time for Blogging & all that shit 👍
