How amazing did that campsite look!!
When I booked our holiday for the upcoming school holidays I wanted somewhere completely off grid without too many neighbors and this place looks like it would have been perfect (hopefully Ningaloo Station also lives up to the hype) - have defiantly put this place on my ‘to do’ list!!

Yeah mate - some awesome camps out at Steep Pt, some great ones in Peron NP too. Ningaloo looked awesome as we drove through, needed a key from the homestead to access a lot of it though, which is why we just cruised through.

Hoping to get out to Shark Bay next year to do a bit more exploring. We have been neglecting the 4x4 in favour of the Coaster but now we are looking for a camper trailer to add to our collection of gear and with a bit of luck we will be getting out to more places off the beaten track like this. Great series, it will be sad to see it end.

Thanks guys - additional of a camper makes me a little excited, mines still a few years off I think....looking forward to seeing where you go.
Yeah it’s a bit sad that there is only a couple episodes left, had to finish up eventually 😢.

Thanks Steve - big list and will take a while, especially being based in southwest of WA, but it gives us something to aim towards!!!

I’m going to do a walk around video of my car soon and will then do one of Kiran’s car, in that we will try and cover off mechanical issues we’ve had along the way.

  • @outbackadventurefamily

Hi Graham, noticed you have a solar panel on top of the tent, any chance of some more details on what type and if you're happy? We have the same kwiky.

Hi John - yes I do have one of those flexible solar panels mounted up there. It’s apparently 120W but it doesn’t put a lot of power in compared to my other normal 120W monocrystaline panel....it’s better than nothing, but it’s not great. It’s sikaflexed and screwed to the roof with enough cabling to allow the tent to open and shut and I just push the cable in with the canvas when I close it all up.

how much fuel do you need to get to steep and did you fill up at the overlander?
