Not saying this portfolio is bad or anything, but you are not starting with just a few bucks here. And being able to invest 150-300 additionally each month is also not something lots of people can do. You can start investing with very little and it will become easier and easier, but the old saying will always stay true: money comes to money.

When adding the $500 per month are the dividends reinvested or is the cash taken out? If you put $60,000 in the account and receive $1000 a month, that is a 20% return per year. These dividends don't pay that.
