Sabaton did a really cool thing with Sarajevo and Versailles. They are the first and the last songs on the album, the place where the war started and where it ended. Both songs are pretty much copies of eachother, even many of the lyrics are the same, just with slight change. Also, Sarajevo sounds grimmer and darker whilst Versailles sounds victorious and hopeful for the future times to come. Love this album!
Not only does Sarajevo start the album and Versailles end it.
Versailles is also the song that ends the same way, Rise of Evil starts
I love how they go from the rejoicing song back to the dark chorus from Sarajevo.
I recommend to listen to Sarajevo and Versailles back to back.
I have good news for you. Since I know you record these in advance, you probably saw that Sabaton released lyric videos for the entire Attero Dominatus album. For their 25th anniversary they are dedicating each month to 1 album (listening party and lyric videos), so I'm expecting the same next month for Metalizer and so on. Since they have a number of 166 songs so far (including covers) and they are currently recording the new album, I think it will be a while before you run out of songs 😀 Also: Nightwish is almost done mixing their new album, it will be released later this year

also, speaking of everything leading back to WW1, i actually have a theory that both world wars, the napoleonic wars, the french revolution, the american revolution and civil war, plus many others, wouldnt have happened had washingtons men not killed some french soldiers, starting the 7 years war.
sort of like a domino effect.
