Breads are definitely some of the best things to make. Nothing beats a hot loaf out of the oven, slicing it up and putting butter on it lol. I make my own italian crusty bread as well as a tomato pizza (or focaccia I guess you could call it). Best savory things to bless my oven.

Ooooh I love baking!! Are you more interested in sweet recipes or savory recipes? Just breads or types of desserts? I'd definitely recommend cinnamon rolls for sweet (just because they are beginner friendly and if the presentation goes wrong, it gets covered up pretty easily with the topping lol) and some type of chili cheese bread for savory. I've also tried a rosemary and cheese bread - which wasn't a personal favorite as rosemary is a bit too strong for me - but my family loved it. Cheesecakes and pies are also the besttt to bake yourself so you get a nice flaky crust instead of a thin, soft layer at the bottom. Some warm peach cobbler with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream, omg it's amazing

@@Fisk For bread, definitely recommend focaccia for beginners. Super easy to make and no shaping involved. Can also be used for a pizza crust - so delicious. Ciabatta is nice too, really simple. Brioche is good for dinner rolls, they're soft and buttery. As an American, I'd also recommend looking up red lobster cheddar bay biscuits (I made them wayy back in junior high for a culinary class I had and they were super good) as well as cornbread (I'm not sure how popular of a food this is in Sweden). I'd also recommend Japanese milk bread (so soft and fluffy) by itself or with some red bean paste as filling (it's a very lightly sweet paste). Happy baking! :)

don't be ashamed. Go to your local used book store and buy a few baking books. then get a good mixer, measuring cups, bowls, a large piece of stone countertop or wood, rolling pin, and your ready for the basics
Everytime you get a holy candle, that beep makes me think my oven temp has reached set temp. Exact same beep. Gotta put my banana bread in!!
Now that I'm thinking about it, everytime you read your Meyer, it's the same sound as my oven, but when I push the wrong button. IT does the same sound.

10:18 it's fun to bake, grill, & cook. If you can bake bread, you can feed so many people. In a survivalist circle you become a hotter than hell commodity. And sandwich making or bread baking skills in a post apocalyptic or a shtf shortage scenario is not only good for ensuring nutrition, it boosts morale & gives people something to look forward to after a long day. Packing & leaf sealing sandwiches is something hunters would want, Fisk. I'm going to check out your bread brand after the video is over.

There's a lot of lore to unfold, base building, and can be played either alone or co-op with up to 6 people! Please please please make a series on this game too. Here's one for you, a swiss bread. Fry some chopped onion and bacon cubes and season them. That mix you then add to your doughmixture, either before or after you let the dough rise, doesn't matter. Afterwards you have a great bread/snack.

This game kinda gives me some serious Kona vibes. Of course it has its differences from the Kona series, mainly being that it has actual enemies lol, but overall a lot of the game mechanics put me back in Carl Faubert's boots and it's pretty cool. Great stuff, brother Fisk! Also, I fucking love that movie, "I'm slappin' dee basssss mon!" 😂

@Fisk Speaking of Baking / Bacon I had the best bread recipe years ago. Make your bread dough as normal, but then fry up some bacon & save the grease. Then add the Bacon to the bread dough. Make sure no bacon is poking out of the bread dough, Bake bread as normal but take the Bacon grease and brush it on the top of the bread as it bakes. Its slapyamomma GOOD!

Baking a cake and pie is quite easy I just buy pie filling and then some fruit to match for instance Apple pie filling then a few apples and put it in. Baking and cooking is fun I became quite a chef when Covid had us locked down.

Oh now I remember this game. Soon as you got to the Military Tents and said whispering.. yeah this game. It felt so unfinished when it first came out a couple years back almost. Hell I don't remember much else about it other than it being a let down. Hopefully it's gotten better though is the whole game just over an hour? I guess 2ish uneditted maybe.
