The whole talk about "reverse" market crash (real estate and stock market) basically argues that we are nowhere near done with inflation and that we might actually experience "hyperinflation" in the near future combined with accelerating poverty levels across the nation or going thru a historical economic depression...those are the extreme conditions that have produced the reverse market crashes in most examples I've seen. I personally don't see anything that extreme coming, but who knows.

I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me, retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income-generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45
@IsabellaMoore-kn5sd Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near-retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for a while now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I netted over $220K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we avg joes don't know

I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially in 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. Iâm up 67% from last year with a 7 figure portfolio well positioned with good blue chip companies and I have stop losses in place. Personally with insights from my adviser Anna Rounds Fay, I prefer to invest in large cap companies which have economic moats, large cash flows and strong balance sheets. Some of which are AAPL, MSCI, IUKD, VHYL, SCHD, NVDA and Barclays.

It depends, you could sit-back and capitalize on the downtrend, if you're looking to make immediate-profit from the rally, you should just hold short positions, although that'd require good level of expertise

impressive, i made my first million saving and investing as a rookie but i couldn't do it alone you see there are people that spend their lives studying these things that's why they are professionals, i started as a chiropractor and my husband was a teacher but with the help of James Fletcher Brennan we both stay at home taking care of our kids and just watching them grow (when my husband isn't out golfing with his buddies of course)

This is a Great video, Everyone needs more than there basic salary to be financially secured. The best thing to do with your money is to invest. Money left in savings always end up used with no returns ..
The decision to invest is an acknowledgement that it comes with certain risks. Not all investments will do well and some may lose money. However, without risk, there would be no opportunity to potentially earn the higher returns that can help you grow your wealth.

I love these video's, great for new investors. Just a couple of questions and a suggestion:
- In terms of profit and taxes from these investments, is it better to invest from personal bank & credit card or via business bank account?(I'm registered as a sole trader currently, accountant can see my business bank accounts)
- Should you keep adding money to the S&P500 for years without withdrawing for the best ROI? (And only withdraw if you suspect the market is gonna crash?)
- Do you expect the index funds to still have a 8% ROI in 2021, as the economy and businesses took a huge hit due to corona?
Maybe it's a good idea to make a video how to invest in 2021 with different situations as a result of corona? (markets going down or up)

Hi Mark - Thank you for all the great advice. I have a question about brokerage sites that I would really appreciate your help with. Is it better to work with one site as opposed to multiple? My company partners with a specific one (not one you recommended), but I really like Vanguard's usability. Is it a bad idea to have accounts with both? It seems risky (although perhaps it isn't) to move my funds over. Should I wait until I max out my contributions on my company's preferred brokerage site and then only invest beyond that on Vanguard, or should I go ahead and open my Vanguard account so I can start choosing index funds how I'd like? I currently contribute about 16% to my IRA and am about 25 years old, if that matters. Thanks!

Hi! I just found Mike's channel today and I'm loving his content. I have a question about the index fund investing.
In theory it's just like a stock, right? So you could sell it eventually if you come to need to cash the money for, let's say, an emergency? Or is it mandatory that it stays invested for a fixed amount of time?
I think is kind of a basic question but I'd love if someone could help me with it. Thanks a lot!
Welcome aboard! Yes you can withdraw money from an index fund, but it's not the point of the fund, you should build an emergency fund first and keep that in a high interest savings account. Your index fund is an insurance for your future that's why you only put in what you can afford every month and leave it to grow. To get it compounding you need to leave it for around 10-12 years, and then you will not want to touch it any way. Thanks Tilbo

you know what. this video was perfect. iâm a 17 year old and my family have been unfortunate during this covid pandemic. weâre quite tight and trying to get by. this video has changed my mindset. but i canât buy stocks until iâm 18.l and the risks are still in the back of my head because the future is unknown.

Iâm happy to have been serious with my finances quite young. Bought a townhouse with 20% down at 23, rented out rooms, got 5 dividend paying ETFs to where I was able to get enrolled into their DRIP, now looking to do index funds.. iâm 25 years old right now.
