I can 100% Honestly day that as someone who suffered from depression, what we need MOST is our friends to be there for us, even if we say we’re okay.
When my depression is bad, I don’t want to go out and hang out with people. But knowing that my friends care enough to show up uninvited to my house with flowers and coffee and sit in silence while i stay in my head, means so much to me.
Just because her friend went through a “breakdown” and is depressed from losing the love of her life, doesn’t mean she should just drop Mia and let her heal on her own. Mia needs love and support and to know that her friends are there for her no matter what or no matter how long it takes Mia to get better
