3934brookie you’d have to visit the restaurant in person to really get a sense of what the steaks are like. Texas Roadhouse’s 12oz or 16oz ribeye, I highly recommend.

It was because it wasn’t fresh from the restaurant, they went to all of them and prob heated it up in a microwave or skillet

Everyone likes a better steak. People only convince themselves otherwise because of other factors like the sight of "blood", etc. Blind taste-test people and they'll pick the juicier, more tender and more flavorful steak most of the time.

Howabout Notachance I work in a grocery store meat department, I can tell you right now that anything above medium rare is just a state of denial and self loathing.
Medium rare is the only correct type. Lower than that and it’s alright? But you’re being a little extra, probably posing.
Higher than that and you don’t love meat or America.
The truth is that it doesn’t matter at all how pink a meat is as long as it reaches the correct recommended safe temperature for that meat.
I don't know what you call medium rare but for the most part those were all over cooked. Then again, when I order my steak I tell the server to walk it through a warm room.

I've never seen an episode I was so confident about the results ahead of time, that ended up exactly as I expected. Texas Roadhouse and Outback are the only places I'd ever even consider eating a steak from a chain restaurant. Even then, I'd say in reality, you'd be better spending your $20-$25 somewhere other than any of these places.

I used to work at a longhorn steakhouse here in Kentucky. Honestly some of the best steaks I've ever had from a chain steakhouse, its too bad they aren't big enough to be on GMM I would have loved to see them try it.
Longhorn Steak House is the best! I live in Palm Springs and the closest one is in Arizona...might be worth the trip. Ruth's Chris's Steak house is extremely good, but a steak there is a week's food budget.

I literally work at both TRH and Outback, and can say without a doubt the quality of steak at TRH is better.

Being blindfolded really messes with your senses though. Maybe a blind taste test, as in them not knowing what steak is from where, would've been better.

Yeah, they’re both cooked to medium. If it were medium-rare, there’d be a little blood in the middle. Link’s Chili’s steak was the only one I saw that was actually cooked to medium-rare.

OUTBACK FOR THE WIN! Best damn steak I've ever had but, to each their own. Could also depend on where you live, not every single restaurant everywhere is the same. I actually think the Sizzler I have near me is the 2nd best steak with Texas Roadhouse being 3rd (if that, because they always over-cook and under-season)
