Okay, I officially have a new favourite Disciple song. It used to be the Lightning one, but this one takes the cake. My favourite Kirby boss theme, into one of my favourite Sonic songs, INTO one of my Favourite Persona songs? Yeah. I’ll probably be listening to this song a lot. 👍🏻
I love these so much. I've made a playlist of all the Disciple songs in order and these true and false and compacted versions go immediately after their originals and this makes my playlist so much more fun. (Though I still prefer the Sylph edit of Disciple of Wind best)
Okay, first things first, really love this theme, was not in a million years expecting I’ll Face Myself, given the the attention seems to go more to either Persona 3 or 5 these days, but I love that that was included. Now for something a bit different than my normal comments, what I feel the story to this theme could be (pretty sure it’s unintentional but I hope others can kinda hear it. The theme starts normal up until the Complete Darkness section ends. You hear Miracle Matter’s theme like normal, but something seems off. It’s almost as though he’s disturbed for some reason. This is further proven through the additional Dark Matter themes, he’s summoning other incarnations of Dark Matter to oppose whatever or whoever is disturbing him. After the Swordsman seems to go down (the theme changes), Miracle matter still seems unsettled, whereas the others seem fine. The theme is normal for a bit until Shadow is cut off by Zero Two’s entrance, and seemingly Zero Two goes down oddly quickly. Miracle Matter is panicked at this time, and the theme increases in speed, until Infinite shows up. They seem to fight it out for a bit but then, Miracle Matter is defeated. The rest of the theme becomes much more about Infinite. Then…honestly I’m not too sure how I’ll Face Myself ties into this. Maybe this is how Infinite finishes off the remaining Disciples? Or Shadow themselves? Or perhaps they are the last ones who can oppose them? Either way, by the end of the theme it’s clear. Infinite has won. The theme slows to a halt, in a somewhat depressing way… Was that a bit silly? Most likely, but there are very few themes that have me invested to the point of thinking of all of this. This may have just become my favourite theme of yours as a result. Great job.
Oh Dark Man's gone? Damn I didnt even notice it! I've noticed a pattern you've used on these remastered versions of your best (and my favorite) mixes, you start of the beginning section with the mix playin normally, and then it'll kick off with the new additions. But Earth and Darkness were the exceptions. Earth had Tunnel Rhino havin more of a chance to slam, and Darkness had TWO mixes with Rumia and the Dark Matter Swordsman c:< Speaking of Darkness, im not edgy at all, but this mix always made me shudder with how damn good it is. I'm so happy you once again brought 02 with Miracle Matter! I never woulda guessed that the red guy is from Persona 4 as well :U And now its finally time to finish this with our boii, not Lloyd, Shulk!
I didnt notice the detail of the song slowly coming to a proper close with Infinite instead of being a nice ass final push that fades away. Almost like Darkness is finally crawling back inside the cave it spawned it instead of keeping up the fight like it did 7-ish years ago

Great remix and ¿can you use dark castle in other remix?this song is espectacular and ¿because is the other remix called false?i think that some songs perfectly with darkness atributte for example a soul as red as a ground cherry
To be fair, in Persona 5 all the enemies are more attributed to Light seeing as they are lies, illusions and deceit while in Persona 4 they are the dark parts that dwell within the deepest recesses of your mind and soul. Hell Persona 5's base final boss is Christian God while Persona 4's final boss is the Japanese Maiden of the Dead
