I think the price is decent when you also consider you get a $25 charging brick with the the dock itself. It also goes on sale quite frequently and during tends to be another 20% cheaper.
So I’ve seen! It’s a good point. Ya I mean I feel it’s worth it to be completely honest. Been a smooth experience so far.

since you have valves dock option vs a 3rd party one it comes with updates to its hdmi / dp port options when you update the client/system thru system updating it also updates the decks bios and the docks onboard firmware if there anything that needs to be flashed to it. lcd user here so it works for me i also use it as my 2nd pc when i'm out and about on work out of town with oled panel and portable keyboard and mouse but yeah its a good machine.
Ya thats a huge pro for staying first party as well. Good thoughts. This thing is so dang fun for traveling with man. One of the best investments ever.
the 3.5 firmware update for the deck broke my HDMI audio passthrough of the official Dock, still no fix 6ish months later

Thanks! For settings, honestly it depends on the difficulty 😂 The higher the difficulty Im going to shoot for the lower the graphics settings. I’ll usually run low settings max fps when doing harder difficulty due the amount of bug/bots are going to be on screen.
Try the sunshine app and stream from your pc to your steam deck docked to the tv.
I’ve been hearing about that app? Do you mind explaining it too me like I’m child lol I see it has something to do with low latency cloud gaming but Im not sure what it’s about 😅
Is the 4k HDR working with the offical valve dock?

OLED 100%. I'm a huge OLED gaming person so I'm a bit bias myself. But it look gorgeous. And don't knock the mid-teir OLED option. That one has some pros over the maxed out version.
