3k still had the weakest verse out of them all
It was the right decision the verse literally rolled the red carpet out for Pimp C to come in as hard as he did.
That’s a dam fact
I really don't know wtf y'all are talking about 😂😂 The beat keeps playing for me 🤷🏾♀
@@justadrumthey’re talking about how the drums and bass line don’t come in until pimp’s verse starts.
@@DJJE928 Ah gotcha…I had to watch another videos with Bun kinda explaining but you tied it together. Appreciate that!
lmao as hard as he did, 💩 was garbage
3000 had the hardest verse on the song . He set pimp up perfectly. When that beat drop imo
Exactly. I was obsessed with this song when it came out.
Nah sweet jones had the best verse on this one
Big Boi
3000 had the best verse on Cool Breeze song Watch For The Hook
Nah pimp or bun....outkast were trash on that song...respectfully
Andddddd this is why, andre is year 3000. It was extremely complimentary to the overall track.
Pimp was World renown for speaking his first mind.
I didn't like the verse either.
And being wrong
It’s a Texas THANG!
@@BlaqRainFresh Thats yall opinion
Real nixxa like pac they not gone let you get away with doing phuck 💩 claiming to be tru to da game it’s not gonna happen
Andre strikes me as a man who has mastered the very obscure art of saying "no" and getting away with it.
Andre’ 3000 is the dude that you just can’t help but to be cool with and show love, support, and respect.☮️🎤
I wish somebody would lock him in the studio with beats and say you can't come out til we get atleast an ep 😂😂😂
Bun B always saving the day kuz Chad almost ditched the Big Pimpin feature 😂😂😂
Man!! I was going to write the exact same thing. Pimp C stayed standing in his own way. Chad was something else.
@@JXSmith-fr5xyI love pimp he said he rode with pac and he said phuck them nixxas money we already rich str8 G 💩
what's the story about that I don't know it
@@standardbrah The South never got any respect from the North. They played them as dumb rappers not lyricist. The South had to kick-in the doors . Outkast, Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, UGK, Cash Money, No Limit, Scarface, Three 6 Mafia, Tela, 8Ball & MJG, T.I. and Young Dro, Pastor Troy. The South was hot and now Northern dudes are wanting to jump on southern rappers tracks after looking down at them SO long. We was singing Project Pat, " Don't Save Her, She Don't Wanna Be Saved"... " I wanna be savvved".
@@JXSmith-fr5xy sure i know that, that's why when outkast got the award at the BET awards 3k said, "the South got sum to say." But what about the big pimpin feature?
In the words of Tony Baker, “I Never Knew!!!”
😭😭😂😂
cramppppppppppp crampppppppppppppp
😂😂😂😂
So we going act like 3 ain’t have a super dope voice impression of pimp lol 🤝🏾
You’re absolutely right. When he spoke I was drawn in to it like it was actually pimp. Glad I wasn’t the only one who felt that way about his impression
Y'all just be saying anything
We Southerner's know how to really emulate our people
It made me want to go back and listen and appreciate
The song came together like magic. It was destined to be a classic from the Hiphop Gods
It's cause with the Pattern he rhymes he doesn't stay on beat
So it was smart to do it that way
But the thing is... he DOES stay on beat... simply a lil unorthodox lol
@@sirtavion20what the phuck that goofy nixxa talking bout pimp C voice
@@sirtavion20 you would have to literally put Those verses directly over the beat to see

Andre 3000 the 🐐 Players Anthem legendary.
T-Pain in this video will always be a highlight
Yep I noticed that too 😂
One of my favorite songs of all time.
3 stacks made the right decision
3000 verse made the song perfect
Classic Pimp! RIP Chad
If I wasn't rapping baby
We miss you so much, Chad Butler. It would never be another like you you GK for life. 1:53
With a little research you can find there are at least 3-4 perspectives on how this song came about. First there was Project Pat with “Choose U” (Layin’ Da Smack Down album) The rest is history. Classic. 👏🏽
There are a million rappers....Andre is a Hip Hop Artist...
When does this episode drop?????
3K looks like he’s in his element of just having fun on here
The video complimented the song also. Everyone’s reaction to Andre verse was hilarious!
Wow never knew about this 😳😱.
RIP Pimp C 🕊️🌹🙏🏼.
Andre had that vision, his verse is so fire, that the build up for that beat to drop made it a perfect intro for Pimp C.
Outkast was so tight that even tho Andre went 1st and Big Boi went 4th their verses still complimented each other.
Pimp c didn't see the vision 🤣
Rip chad
Was just bumping this yesterday. Ended up being a perfect balance on the track
Andre3000🐐
I get it, Pimp was the producer. How u gon remix my beat for your verse?
Dj Paul from 3 6 mafia made that beat
It was project pats beat first
@@thomasanderson468pimp was the co producer bruh. Check them credits
Quick lil story
Paul Made the beat, it was originally for Pat who used it for “choose You” which was In 2002, while pimp was locked up during those times .. He heard the song and asked Paul to hold that beat and wanted to rap over it & when he got out 05’.. He and Bun did “UnderGround Kingz” in 2007, and knowing Pimp, he of course he paid Paul(& juice) for the Beat, and it technically became his beat, so the outcome is what is was ..
And why he got mad? Well Pimp was expressing how he hated where hip hop was going, been out for 1.5 years (before his death) and hated how soft and gay it was becoming, and Atlanta was a huge problem to it, but respected artist like Outkast, TI and Ludacris .. but also still and wouldn’t allow anyone to walk all over him(pimp) .. and the sad thing is, Pimp never got to see the Respect and love the song had received because, 3-4 months later he passes away & during those months.. Son was ducking and running from tryna be killed .. if you know, you know
@@erichouston813shol was and pat song still goes hard
Don’t mess with Texas !!!
Dont mess wit coke heads is more like it. 😂
I love hearing the behind the scenes stories!! All songs created have great stories behind them!!

I love these old stories
Imagine if Legends collab more like 3-6 mafia Outkast & UGK ..
Did on that song
They dropped a Bomb 💣 💣
Wow …great info 🔥🔥🔥🔥
THAT BOI 3000 PLAYED HIS PART THOUGH 👁🖤🅰️♏️
His Pimp C impression was so good 😂
That song is simply iconic... 3 Stack and Pimp really did their did on a whole other level
Smartest decision on the beat, it set the tone PERFECTLY.
That’s a legendary song! 3 Stacks did the right thing. It’s one of the best collaborations ever in hip hop history. Everybody brought their A game!
Where I'm from that song is the National Anthem. F that stars and strips ish!!
Classic Pimp C Rest Easy Legend Fly High
Now i gotta go listen to it again... 😂 🔥 🔥 🔥
I remember as a kid getting a haircut I was watching the world premiere when they would show the video being made on bet
I get it. It’s kind of like when Kendrick started Euphoria off with the slow Teddy Pendergrass flow. I will admit I was a little worried. That was until I heard the beat switch and the infamous Shooo Shooo then I was like ok 👌🏾 I see what you did there Kendrick. 😉
💿🏆💯
Well technically it was a DJ Paul beat Pimp just remixed it so he couldnt be that mad
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪
Peace to UGK, Outkast, Three 6 and Willie Hutch
Still in my regular rotation at all times.
Good to hear stories about pimp
One of my favourite 3 Stack verses 👌🏽
Right decision and love the song
The dopest wedding song ever.
Miss that boy!!
Real Talk Plain Simple Facts 💯: Long Live Pimp C iconic music
For historical reference, Andre didnt even wanna be on it till he found out Big Boi was on it. Keep listening to that flute album 3k fans lmao
Bro the way Andre raps it makes it so hard when pimp comes in after 3k
The original is song is from Project Pat, three 6 mafia. Choose U
LONG LIVE THE PIMP! Rest in power
Pimp got mad at everybody 😂😂.....UGK and OutKast are 2 of the greatest hip hop duos of all time, not just in the south either
Man when I DJ thats the song I chop up to start my sets! Song is fire just the way it is!
Aint no other pimp man!! Pimp c ah legend
Pimp C got upset over the littlest things.
Because Tony wouldn’t allow anyone to walk over him, specially anyone from Atlanta .. but did respect Artist like Dre
He was a Capricorn we just cut that way lol 🤦🏽♂️
Plus a lil coke to boot prolly
He was just a real street dude.. he even got mad at jay z because he didn’t want to go “pop” with big pimpin
@@erichouston813C wasn’t no real street dude he was an emotional mama’s boy with a coke habit.
Now I hear it in a new light
It was some real GOATS ON THAT TRACK only one was missing is FACE SMOKE SOMETHING BIH RIP PIMP
Coo story
Pimp was just being pimp 3 stacks know that but bun b had to let pimp know wait till the beat drop its going to hit hard on god 3 stacks really sound just like pimp the way he talk
Pimp C was SoReal!💯💪🏾❤️
That shxt is hard 🔥
3000's verse was the best feature ever!
I love the verse
Sweet Jones!
Chad💔
Rip Pimp, always kept it a 100!
Pimp was a legend. Pimp also had a genuine misunderstanding when it came to the power of others. He thought doing Big Pimpin would make them lose fans lol
Exactly
Andre is the greatest rapper in history 🐐
Dope song, I may be in the minority, but I like the version with 3-6 Mafia. Both classic tho💯🔥🔥
Well Damn, how would Pimp react to the mf'n flute album?
Rip to Chad Butler. 1:54 Players anthem. That's my favorite track. Smash of the grey one bought me a red. You ain't pimp a fairy. Pimp c was very mad.
Same guy who didnt like the Big Pimping beat. Once again BB saved the day. Lol😂.
Rest in Paradie to the great Pimp C. Truly one of a kind.
R.i.p Pimp C
Hit what hit i am hear for all the ugk smoke
lol @ Pimp being mad at Dre for taking the beat out when that dude basically filmed his own Big Pimpin video and sent it to Jay rather than just flying to their location and being in the real video.
To me, Bun and Big Boi's verses mean nothing on this track. Stacks sets it up, the beat drops and goes perfectly into Pimp. The dichotomy between Stacks being on some marriage and Pimp being on pimpin' kills it. The other verses are just filler.
I would have to disagree. Obviously, their verses went da hardest rapping wise, but when I listen to Bun and Boi verses, I think that it makes the topic of the song come full circle. Each verse gives the philosophy of every man's respected decisions on how men view relationships. 3k is the one choosing to marry, Pimp is the playa, Bun is the pimp in action (recruitment), and Big Boi is the big brother giving advice on being cautious of relationship entrapment.
Pimp c didn't hold back if he had a issue but Andre was right how he did it
Legend has it that a homeless man in China once sneezed, and pimp got mad at that.
That syrup clouds your judgement. R.I.P. Pimp though frfr
i made my entrance for my wedding ceremony with dre's verse playing and i made sure the dj knew to cut it right before pimp's verse came in or i probably wouldn't be married 😂
That was originally project pats beat “ take the charge” (Laying the smack down )
Pretty sure Bun B said he sent the song to Big Boy and 3k separately. Dre said take out the drums and Big only wanted the drums 😂
Everytime someone says a Pimp zc story theyre obligated to imitate him 😂😂😂😂
