- Guys this is a trip we had planned out for a few months now, it finally came to life and was an absolute blast, we had John from @CreekFishingAdventures join up and tag along with Erek at Kast2Katch and Bubba!!!! We floated for 8 miles the first day then set up camp, drank a few cold brews and enjoyed a fresh caught trout and a burger and hot dog!!! The next morning we embarked on a little longer float 12 miles!!! The fishing was tough and we knew it would be going into the trip, it's been a little tough the last few weeks or so on the river!!! We still had a blast, put fish in the yak and enjoyed every second of this Trip!!!

Yeah man we definitely got lucky on that, fishing was super slow, I dunno I always do so good on the Holston but struggled this trip for some reason

Man I can tell you had good time. Yeah we all get those days where the fish just now biting. Minus the rain I know you had fun special at the campsite ain't nothing like sitting back drinking a cold ones and laughing and eating. 3 of My co-workers ,4 friend , and my 5 son took me on a 24 Mile kayak trip with two broken feet and a broken shoulder for Father's Day. I had a blast man for my condition I was in. I feel bad I couldn't do nothing. But they want to do this for me for what I've been through. But it was a great trip planning on doing again.
Man there is nothing like being out there, its just so peaceful, quite, the scenery is awesome, i believe were going to do rhis exact float again here in a few weeks or so for a big tournament here! Should be awesome!!!

Same here man, and it felt great, the smell of the fire etc. The stars u can see from the country is amazing, we own 40 acres in the mountains and literally havent veen there in almost 2 years this trip made me realize I need to get up there and get the place cleaned back up for camping and stuff

Pedal drives are pricey, but after watching this video I'm convinced they are essential (or a motor).
Ehhhhhh I wouldn't say essential!!! But I do have a Hobie PA14 now and although it has its ups it also has its downs on the river....In my opinion the Bonafide is the best river kayak, paddles easily and you can take it anywhere you want....Ive only had the Hobie on the river once so far, but I had to continuously pull the drive up not to hit it on the rocks or lay downs!! But a positive in the pedal drive like a Hobie is being about to sit in an area and keep yourself in position and still have your hands free to fish!!

The float we did in the video is a 20 mile float from public ramp to public ramp theres nothing in between which sucks, reason we camped!! I heard they was supposed to build a ramp in between there somewhere
