- Join me on an exciting Aussie Gold Hunt adventure as I take my Minelabs GPZ 7000 metal detector into a recently burned bushland area of Beaufort in the Victorian Golden Triangle. In this video, we explore the rugged and beautiful scenery, showcasing an old Gold serenade and the unique landscape shaped by the recent fire. Watch as I sweep the detector over the charred ground, hoping to uncover gold nuggets that might have been unearthed by the flames.
As the day progresses, I share the thrill of metal detecting, with the GPZ 7000's advanced technology helping me scan the area with precision.
Finally, I'll take you to a different location on another day where I hit the jackpot on a quartz reef, revealing a stunning gold find. Don't miss the excitement of the hunt and the beauty of nature's recovery!

Yep good detecting area but no shiny. Thanks for your comment and for watching.
I have been wondering about the ground after the Beaufort bushfire. Looks like the bush will recover. Lovely piece of Gold from Dunolly. Thank you for sharing your adventures. 🏞
Thanks 👍
We used to make them with our kids around the Goldfields, we left loads of them around, our best one was out at moliagul
Not sure what you are referring to...Thanks for your comment and for watching.
@@metaldetectingfun the little stick houses, the kids used to love it when they were little
Is that Steve who had gpz 7000 modified to?
Yep Steve and has the Gold Monster 1000 modified. Will be doing a video on this.
@metaldetectingfun please do and thanx for the settings 🤗
Also , I know it's big ask, can you share your settings for running in normal. I tried everything but it's just to noisy. TIA
High Yield, Normal, Sensitivity 5-6, Audio smoothing LOW, Volume 10, ground smoothing OFF, Ground Balance AUTO. Sometimes the ground is just too mineralised and I have to resort to Difficult and Sensitivity 18. Hope it helps. This is all with the NF 17x13" Z search coil.
Turn your threshold down abit, actually what sort of detector are you running
