Your rabbits are really cute, but I think you should definetely give them a bigger cage! A rabbit must be able to jump three times from one side of the cage to the other and stand up.

To all of ya'll complaining about the bunnies cage. Yes, it is small. The wire flooring is better for bunnies 1. When bunnies are on flat flooring their nails are flat on the ground 2. If you know anything about bunnies their pee has a high consistency of ammonia. So when they are on wood or solid floor they are right by their pee which can cause respiratory problems 3. It can cause sore hocks but that wire is vinyl coated so it is soft. Please stop blasting people especially if these are meat rabbits ❤
Keeping in mind that these are meat rabbits and not pets, I will say that most people are defending it innocently thinking it is a pet.
FOR ANY RABBIT, wire, regardless of coating, can cause sore hocks prescisely because it isn't flat flooring. The wires will dig into their feet because they can't distribute the weight over their entire foot. Flat flooring is more akin to what they would face in the wild (of course, it is not bumpy terrain, but they will at least be able to distribute their weight). Rabbits do not have padded feet, they have very sensitive skin on the bottom of their feet. They need a flat floor to prevent ailments to their feet. Imagine if you had to spend your life on a wire floor with the squares only about 1/4 the size of your feet (I would like to point out that even OUR feet have ore "padding" than bunnies do, so no matter our uncomfort, bunnies will be so much more uncomfortable). Wire is most definitely NOT "better" for a rabbit, it is VERY BAD for a rabbit.
Anyways, there is something just so depressing about how small their cages are and how they'll live the rest of their short lives in a space barely double their size without being able to exercise or stretch. Thats why people are defending that. Because they feel bad.
Specifically for pets, If you are worried about pee, rabbits can be litter trained. Thus it is YOUR responsibility to change the litter to make sure the rabbit isn't getting sick. Or else, just clean it right away. If you have a wire bottom and aren't cleaning it, they will get sick anyways. I would also like to point out that he pee is going directly on the wires, so if they do end up injuring their foot, it has a high likelyhood of infection.
I don;t mean to be rude, its just that this is some dangerous information you are spreading for people who may be looking for advice for pet rabbits. I suggest you clarify that this information is specifically for meat rabbits (even though some of it is wrong information).

They feed on their mother's milk for almost a month before going on sold food. If you remove the babies from their mother, you should research how to properly care for them. It's not the same care as puppies or kittens.
