- Bible teacher, author and speaker Sheila Walsh has personally struggled with unforgiveness after being hurt by a fellow Christian. The Lord taught her how to bring both the debt and the debtor to Him.
A wonderful message of faith, hope, love and forgiveness.
May the Lord help all to understand this sensitive subject only Jesus living in us the hope of glory can make us understand what forgiveness is....
Unforgiveness for past hurts and worse, the urge to hurt back in return are two of my major sins, Sheila is a very honest and common sense speaker. Thank you!
Thank you for being a BEAUTIFUL VESSEL for JESUS. I believe I FORGIVE, then, before I know it, hard feelings come up toward abusers... bitterness. There is a Christian counselor @ the college I attend, who prints beautifully encouraging strips, & places them in a box that hangs on the wall in the main hallway. I picked one the other day that says "I am willing to forgive. Forgiving myself and others releases me from the pain of the past. I FORGIVE and I am FREE." 24 years ago, the SAME situation happened to me, like the woman you encountered on the plane. I "forgave" them, but bitterness rises up against them, whenever I know of ANYONE cheating... Thee "forgiveness strip", is wrapped around my "heart stone", and ready to ride around in my pocket, from this day on.

God is a forgiving God and since we are His children our character must be forgiving too.
