This water leaf vegetable soup is the truth. I even think it tastes better than edikaikong soup ( ugu and water leaf vegetable soup) 🙂

Very little onion to cook the meat

Hello Maya, Ogiri is fermented locust beans. Just mention it in an African store and they’ll show you. It’s a celebrity ingredient for Igbo soups😅😅

This is the real water leaf soup. But here in Nederland where I live, it’s difficult to get snail and water leaf. So I usually use spinach and I add Okazi leaf. Thanks for sharing, this soup looks very enticing 👍

Fresh water leaves and Ugu arrived today. I cheated a bit with Ugu lol. I used lots of cow foot, goat meat (shoulder), ishi okporoko and Cameroon pepper. I swear this soup went to Jupiter!!
