My husband moved to heaven eight years ago. God then burdened my heart to begin praying for men to rise up and become who they were created to be, in the image of God, standing against the darkness. I pray for purpose, identity, and direction in the lives of men to be established through a relationship with Jesus, globally, on a regular basis. This song touches my soul every time I listen. God bless you and guide you all.
Can I offer a different take on your message? I am not here to judge because we are our own judges against the One and only Law which is Love. You stated that your prayed for men to stand against the darkness. What if you prayed for them to stand in the darkness? For we must be the light in the darkness which means we must shine bright in this dark world. I love your message. It's encouraging to hear uplifting words. The god of the OT was exposed by Isus (Yeshua or Jesus) when he called out the Pharisees of his day as being the sons of Satan. We must do the same today with the false teachers, Pharisees (so called Christian experts and doctorates of law) and the Laodecian church.
My husband left this world 2 1/2 years ago and I was so surprised to run across this recording. He had a men's gospel quartet back in the 80s, called "One in Spirit", since they were all from different churches. They performed and recorded this song and did the same thing with parts being added. I was so blessed to experience this beautiful rendition and remember, also sharing it with our 7 kids!
After my divorce I used to ask that question and prayed for a man ( husband) to help me raise my baby boy. It never happened, so I said to God may your will be done. So I've been busy working and raising my son. It's been 7years now. Where are the men? I don't know.
Our enemy, is at war with masculinity! A strong man, is a fearless man, willing to put himself between his family, & those who wish it harm! Be willing to stand in that gap!
What a wonderful way to start morning prayers with this prayer. I have found myself singing it several times during the day, praising The Father . Wonderful! Just Wonderful!
The way this song began with one man's voice and then spread to the other men and finally then all joining in harmony reminds me of how the gospel of our Lord Jesus is spread from one too many until we all are joined as one in His name. Beautiful Oh that men of God would stand up for Christ and be strong, mighty, and holy spreading the Gospel by their lives.
I promise it's like the more mixed a choir is racially the better the sound. The different voices blend perfectly. Like we were all meant to sing together.
I understand that. It's lovely to be able to sing solo praise to God but what brings me the greatest joy is to sing with other voices mingled in glorious harmony, *together*.

I don't mean to criticize brother, what you said was lovely. You even included people everywhere in your desire for men and women to know the Lord. I love that desire, it is one I share with you. I just want to express something I hear always, when an American sees something encouraging or moving in the Lord, they always just speak of Americans and their country, as if America is the whole world. It is only small part of the world. I would love to hear people include the rest of the people in the world in love and their hope's, be concerned for them and also pray for them, just as you do for the people of America. They refer to America as, " the free world!", all the time! I must tell you that I, an American, and a missionary living outside of America, living in Ireland for over 32 years, and being part of Europe, I found when I moved here, that much of the news of the world kept from Americans, and your news seems to be very selective and used to manipulate America's belief system. It is true that Ireland and MANY other countries have more freedoms than America. You are loosing so much of your freedoms, it is frightening. The, End Times", are here, and I can only see it getting worse for you, worse for my family over there. Please, when you pray for people, include the people of the world. And please realise that there are places, like Ireland that are very free people. But we also need prayer. We are here in Ireland because God called us here; people need the Jesus, to hear the true salvation message of the gospel. I care about the USA, and I see things that worry me terribly. The homeless situation is terrible and my heart aches. The amount of shootings and killings, and some done by the ones that should be protecting you. We have many ethnicities here in Ireland and we all get on very well. Our church alone has about 15 different nationalities in it. We are one in Christ. Our police, called the Gardaí, don't carry guns. They don't need to and they just carry batons and now sprays because of the large city of Dublin are having a particular problem of Gards being attack with syringes. They have a drug problem in part of the city. But the guards over the country can most often talk people down and handle it all peacefully. Be it to calm situations or even arrest.They don't need to shoot people. They respect people and people respect the gardai. There is so much more freedom here. So please do tell others in America, they aren't the , "free world". That insinuates that everywhere else is not free. I am disturbed and saddened at how bad my former home has become. I pray that there will be big turn towards the Lord in true repentance, and salvation in Jesus name.

Park ranger on his horse didn’t even get off his horse, just sat there for a while - looking at me. When he moved off, I dressed and scrambled on down! As a side note I want to teach you to fill your empty milk jugs with cold clean water squeezing out of the sides of mountains!

@@beggsnachin I think it's the "same" group as in there have been multiple and mixed groups of men who have made up the official group "Acapella" through the years. The men singing here are not the guys who sang it originally.
@@FFAdventuresOriginal I figured. Those guys in the group "Acapella" that I knew in the 80's would probably by 70+ by now. I didn't have things like CZcams, or even CBN back then, so I really don't know. I just know I found this really fun group with really great harmonies. I was in choir and I had a double decker tape player boom box, and I spent a lot of time singing songs and recording harmony on top of harmony, to see how many I could stack on top without deteriorating the quality. Then later I graduated to sound editing programs. Haven't done any of that for a few years now since taking up wannabe farming. I sing to the cows now. LOL

@@beggsnachin I think it's the "same" group as in there have been multiple and mixed groups of men who have made up the official group "Acapella" through the years. The men singing here are not the guys who sang it originally.
@@FFAdventuresOriginal I figured. Those guys in the group "Acapella" that I knew in the 80's would probably by 70+ by now. I didn't have things like CZcams, or even CBN back then, so I really don't know. I just know I found this really fun group with really great harmonies. I was in choir and I had a double decker tape player boom box, and I spent a lot of time singing songs and recording harmony on top of harmony, to see how many I could stack on top without deteriorating the quality. Then later I graduated to sound editing programs. Haven't done any of that for a few years now since taking up wannabe farming. I sing to the cows now. LOL
It's beautiful to see me in when they're showing the greatness of God that is within them sing out with praise. 💜
