Bless you. A lot of people dont want to adopt special needs animals. I have 2 3 legged cats and a beagle I've had since he was a puppy. He couldn't walk when i got him, but I've had him 10 years and he has been walking and playing for 9 1/2 years now. Had a spinal injury. It's rewarded being able to help. If you can rescue an animal with special needs. They are the most loving animals I've ever owned.

What an absolutely astounding story. It's a miracle she survived at all. So many thousands of miles: just goes to show you with determination what the human spirit can accomplish.
