A powerful battleship that could have been designed at British shipyards by the order of Chile-a continuation of the Los Andes concept with a powerful secondary battery of 234 mm guns, among other technical solutions from the era of the South American dreadnought race.
The ship inherited its name, Libertad (“Freedom”), from a battleship built for Chile in Great Britain in the 1900s, but which was eventually commissioned into the Royal Navy instead.

Wargaming could add these ships to fill in the rest of the ship line from tier 5 to 10.
Tier 5: The Alternate design of the Rio de Janeiro: The initial draft of the Brazilian Dreadnought that was to be armed with 356mm guns instead of the 305mm guns, but had fewer guns then her successor. This Design was Discarded for Political and Economic reasons.
Tier 6: Almirante Latorrie: A real steal Chiliean battleship armed with 14 inch guns, renamed HMS Canada after being Requisitioned by the British during World War 1, and then Returned to Chilie where it served until it was Scrapped in 1959.
Tier 7: The Project 781 Class battleships/ The Riachuelo Class: A class of Brazilian Battleships that were Designed in 1914 to counter the Almirante Latorrie Class battleships, Its Design heavily mirrored the Queen Elizabeth class Battleships, The Design called for (8x2) 381mm guns in four turrets in the same layout as The Queen Elizabeth class. If the project was not Canceled it would have been the most powerful battleship produced by the Brazilian Navy and would have outclassed all other South American Battleships and would have been on par with the most modern navies in the 1910s.
The ships themselves would fit pretty neatly into the pan American BB line, as you make you way up from tier 5 to 6 and 7, the Main battery starts out as standard 356mm guns but then upgrading to 15 inch at tier 7 which becomes standard up until the Libertad.
The secondary battery is pretty plentiful with all 3 ship proposals above carrying 16 or more 152mm guns which compared to most ships currently in game carries less and less 152s the higher the tier the Dreadnought design is. Which fits the large secondary battery gimmick and once you hit Tier 8, the Bigger Secondary gun gimmick will become more pronounced with the 234mm guns.
Wargaming needs to do this for the line.
Man! This thing is huge, long as hell, plus pretty thick. It’s like merging Vermont with GK.
I wonder how big is Libertad compared to Kurfurst or Preussen.
So it´s basically a Tier 10 Atlantico. I love secondary BBs, so I´m exited for it! I already have a 21 point captain in the Atlantico ready to go for this ship.
Your videos are always awesome!, I've learned a lot from your YT channel, plays and reviews even thou I'm still a starchy player lol. Thank you Carbine Carlito!.
Glad to help!👍
Wow! Interesting ship! Thanks for the upload, CC!
My pleasure!
It's pretty much Fuso on CRACK.
This ship need antitorpedo perk on the 2 shelf!
Fascinating to play with no doubt, but the design principles make utterly no sense to be a 1930s/40s design.
More like a 1910s design that was modernised a bit like atlantico
Still intriguing. Thanks as always CC
An Atlantico on steroids :D
@@CarbineCarlito indeed. The turret arrangement is fuso like and the hull is more like something from the 1940s 🤣
I still think the schliffen will remain the king of the secondaries, can’t beat those 20 fast firing guns on each side and its armour is much better
will have more Hp, better tankiness.armour. bettr heal, also action to best commander in game if he doesnt change, as well as better secondatr range
@@tahiribnmohammad5410 schliffen is faster and way more maneuverable and very clearly a much smaller target and a better concealment. In the stats he showed he is running rotor mod and even with that it’s less maneuverable then a schliffen without it.
Yes its a huge ship with massive turning circle and rudder shift at the moment making Schlieffen way more maneuverable.
That's until you put Joaquin Marques Lisboa in it. With that captain and the combat instructions active, the Libertad becomes the most dangerous Secondary BB in the game, 13.75km secondary range while having 12.8km conceal. And your Hitting DPM becomes equal or Higher than Schlieffen with Lütjens. Would have to run the numbers and make a trial between both ships, but that's what I think.
@@nacholegui2346 hitting the secondary goal with the schliffen is extremely quick, much more maneuverable and much better armour, those 2 things are crucial for a good secondary bb and the 13.75 is only when the ability activates
Sux we are not getting a full line.
🇨🇱
Hello Carlito great video as allways, keep doing a great work
Thank you very much your support is very much appreciated 👍
Whilst it is nice to see some solid deck and casemate plating, GYATT
How about Comorodo? Also new BB of Pan American ?
It's the Libertad just under a different name because it is testing a bonus commander for the Pan American nation
it looks like my atlantico, i just hope they fix the 2ndary guns on that ship because even a DD can easily disable those little turrets using HE
Good review as ever, another interesting ship
Thanks again!👍
imagine the premium/steel version of this 😳
It would be truly scary :D
A bigger Atlantico?
Atlantico on steroids :D
Is this a Coal ship ?
upcoming tech tree
I want a clip about the Pan Asia level 6 submarine😊
Dont we have an NDA on this?
We can discuss what is visible in port the stats the armor etc. We cant show gameplay or comment about our personal gameplay experience.
Looks more like incomparable or a bigger versjon of Atlantico
It will be a good ship, but with a focus on secondary ones... it will be a little useless in random ones.
for me the main issus is that: secondary survivability - if as low as in Atlantico - it will be very bad
Hannoverdad😅.
WG adding these combat instructions to as many new ships as they can, making players greedy focused to fill them. I expect some players trying the ship full broadside salvo at range.
But the ship secondaries look really power creep over what we got until now/then ingame. 🤷🏼♀️
"Hannoverdad" lol
1:) Unfortunate Name
2:) The heal has a 60 seconds CD.....
3:) The special pan american commander that has been annoucned is a must for this ship
4:) You're gona have to show full broadside to use all of those gunz
5:) Focus as much on Suvivability and secondaries
6:) I wouldn't run concealment
for me the main issus is that: secondary survivability - if as low as in Atlantico - it will be very bad
Remember when 'paper ships' had actually been drawn, on a piece of paper, at some point? I cant imagine this was ever even doodled on the back of a napkin, WG is just totally making thing sup now.
Good ship, good video, horrible voice
It's the one I was born with and can't change it
this is best wows streamer voice you can getm after Zath of course :)
So tired of all the gimmicks and fantasy ships.
Then stop playing, maybe? Like legit, stop playing if you're actually tired. It'll probably be good for you.
