I’m so proud of you guys for opening your minds, and expanding your knowledge. Both sides, Democrats and Republicans, tend to label and group everyone according to what their tribe expresses. RFK and Shanahan are more moderate on many issues if you really listen to them rather than listen to the media. They focus on real solutions and uniting the country rather than insulting the other candidates and forcing us apart. I find them to be refreshing, intelligent, and respectful. As a veteran, RFK jr is the best candidate of my lifetime. As you look more at what he is about, I think most everyone will find that he is MUCH better than Trump and Biden...who have together run up the national debt to $34 trillion. Between Trump and Biden HALF of that debt is their work. WE cannot have that if we are to survive.

Don't be afraid to come back with something like, "Explain that further"..."For the average person who isnt in politics, explain what you mean by that."...or.."So who exactly is running the show?"
Pre-interviews might help yall in the beginning to help you come up with better responses until you get more comfortable.
Shanahan was referring to the elite class of "power" donors, be it individuals or corporations, who throw their weight behind candidates and other political players with money. They run the show, not the constituents or even the politicians they back.

I don't think Trump will choose Vivek. Plus, I heard Vivek tell Maher that he was too good for 2nd place and would never accept VP. If he accepts, he's already going back on his word. I found it quite arrogant and annoying.

Rich corporations, banks and tycoons, make billions from major crises. The entire system in the US is designed to favor the extremely rich. Everything goes in a circle from one pocket to the other one. When Congress approves billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine or Israel, they borrow that money from big corporations or banks. Companies provide this money from their profits, which they would otherwise have to pay taxes on. In this way, they skip paying taxes and the state repays the debt to them with interest! Can it get any better!? The same corporations and tycoons sponsor political election campaigns. Politicians, more or less puppets, return favors by creating jobs for them by wars, Covid and other crises....and it's all nicely packaged and served as a democratic lie.

They left because the party was no longer the Democratic party of his uncle/father's era. The party values and vision has changed dramatically (along with the Republicans). They both serve corporate interests, not their constituents.
