The last time I was drawn by Rahu into an academic nightmare (to hit more walls) was around 2005. Before I knew the Vedic chart at all. People have told me with this nodal placement, I'm supposed to be dreaming, but the work ethic is too strong -- but with Vedic, I think Rahu is in Aq., and as I get older, there's a lot more awareness of community. In fact, a few years before my Rahu maturation, I met a major influence, a brother, whose professional name included "Fish". Not a total change of path, but becoming more of what I'm supposed to be.

I want every reading he gives. I've gotten: Car and Home, Dashamsa (Career 2.0), Marriage, and Career. This is so on point for me like everything you said for Cancer ascendant. My brother went to Vipasana meditation. I myself have no interest in talking, focused on research (I do physics so it is pretty much math) , meditation, yoga. Have been also trying to learn Spanish and Japanese.

I'm Leo Ascendant the Ketu description kind of spooked me, because I am already in the process of fasting, limiting my spending, smartly managing the money I do have, and being away from family for the first time in a long time. No way, Kapiel has to be the most knowledgeable person when it comes to Vedic astrology on youtube. Your predictions about my ascendant, Sagittarius, are correct to tremendous accuracy like for example I'm actually moving into a new house in the coming months (my new home in more than 20 years), there is a big lake in the neighbourhood and someone from foreign lands is really coming to stay with me.
I guess the universe is really just a bunch of patterns endlessly repeating themselves.

I had a very similar dream (going around to different groups of people I knew pulling orange and white snakes out of my throat, followed by a female deity handing me a gold box full of snakes).
