  • This is not the only method for pressurize rainwater. However this system works great for off grid, low tech, low cost, temporary, and even partially portable applications.
Pump - 12v, 2.9 GPM, 50 psi. flojet brand (you can get one that runs on ac too)
Filter - Reusable whole house spin down sediment filter, 50 micron

This is the exact info I was looking for to install a pump at our community garden in order to use the rainwater we collect more efficiently. Thank you!

Fix the drip at the filter. It will cost you a lot of water over time

Thanks Trip, I dont have it running 24/7. This is a temp system. Once finalized I'll glue it.

Are you treating the potable water for microbes? The sediment filter is great for pulling out junk, but it is not going to deal with bacteria.

I have been going through tons of videos and making inquires. People are trying to set me up with systems that cost over 2k. Your video blew me away. I would like to see a little better pressure and go on when I turn the water. Can I add a pressure switch and is there a inexpensive tank you might know of. Especially impressed with "bless you in the name of Jesus" probably the most convincing. God bless!

Nothing low cost with that set up. The storage tank, tank used for shower etc... are very expensive. Not very practical.
