What worked for me was to double-ensure that there is no whitespace (like no trailing NEWLINE character) in that text field, besides your secret API key. Tap Done, then go back and check that field again. The Shortcuts app appends unwanted NEWLINE(s) the first time you paste it in there.

Yes, it’s very unusual. I wonder if chat GPT give priority to accounts that were set up earlier rather than later, and also to those people that generated their API key earlier to thus manage traffic on their server 🤷🏼♂️ we all have to be patient as they grow their server 😢

Hi all - 2 things I eventually figured out: 1. You need a credit card in your OpenAI API account 2. You literally have to rename the shortcut “Pro”. You are technically not saying “Hey Siri Pro”, you are saying “Hey Siri // Pro” Hope that helps.

You gotta say “Hey Siri” “Siri Pro” or “whatever you named it” and it should work. If you want to skip the part we’re you skip the “Hey Siri” part, you gotta go to Settings-Accessibility-Voice Control- Custom Commands- Custom- Create New Compand-“name it”-Action-Run Shortcut- Siri Pro. Done-Save.

Hello. I have followed the instructions to the dot but it is not working. I am able to install SIRI Pro Shortcut ad then add the API Key from ChatGpt as instructed. When I run the Shortcut it shows me yes and when I ask a question, it runs but it does not show me the results. In the API Key it shows that API Key was used. It did not work for me, unfortunately the flow is not doing proper handling exceptions, however; I have tried to read the return JSON and it looks like I am getting "you exceed your current quota" I would ask you guys to build a better exception handling mechanism to read the Dictionary Value & parse it and say the error if there is an error

I got it to work. I rename the shortcut hey boss, then every time I want to ask a question I say hey boss. Siri will say yes, and then you will ask your question. I would suggest trying to be as detailed as possible with your question, it works. I promise😁🙌

I renamed it as Siri pro for the first time and whenever I say hey siri pro it says quote “sorry’ unable to find a shortcut named “hey siri”.” But then I renamed it as pro and then it works fine!! The seems good but it doesn’t ask for API key when you’re using an iPhone now they have pre-created Shortcuts for you so it doesn’t give you the option to add your API key
Okay, so I was having issues with a similar thing, Siri would run the shortcut and end it without providing an output or response. What I did, was delete the shortcut, add it again from the link, then when the shortcut ran the first time it asked for permission to allow information from the api.openai URL. I did not have any payment methods linked to my OpenAI account and using the free trial :) Now I just have to name it what I want to activate the shortcut.
When I run it for the first time, I was prompted to connect to Chrome instead of the API. After I clicked Allow, nothing happens other than a flash on the screen after enter an instruction in the text box. Am I missing something 😅

Try rebooting and make sure your iOS is up to date

Same here, only text responses.
When I run the play command in the shortcut it does voice response, when I say hey siri pro it only responds back with text @timharrisvideo

Just change the name of the shortcut. But you’ll still need to say “hey siri” first
The seems good but it doesn’t ask for API key when you’re using an iPhone now they have pre-created Shortcuts for you so it doesn’t give you the option to add your API key
I followed everything. However. Testing the shortcut isn’t functioning.
I cannot access siri pro verbally.
When I set it up Siri just says that’s done after I make a query.
Okay, so I was having issues with a similar thing, Siri would run the shortcut and end it without providing an output or response. What I did, was delete the shortcut, add it again from the link, then when the shortcut ran the first time it asked for permission to allow information from the api.openai URL.
I did not have any payment methods linked to my OpenAI account and using the free trial :)
Now I just have to name it what I want to activate the shortcut.

Voice command quit working after Apple update 17.0. Can you give instructions on how to repair?
When I run it for the first time, I was prompted to connect to Chrome instead of the API. After I clicked Allow, nothing happens other than a flash on the screen after enter an instruction in the text box. Am I missing something 😅

Interesting that Chat GPT is working with info from Oct 2020. Asking what the date is gives you that date , normal Siri tells you 2023.

All I'm getting is "There is a problem running the shortcut: Siri Pro" I have a paid for API. Iv'e tried regenerating the api key, deleting and reloading the short cut. Restarting my phone. The shortcut works on my mac, just not my phone. The phone is also updated. Anyway else had this?

It just downloads a blank page. I figured this about about six months ago, but my shortcut got deleted and now here I am back at square one.
