- Craft Ideas, EASY QUICK and Simple. Hand made Gnomes. All you need is Scrap yarn, cardboard and glue. Try cutting a strip of plastic from a bottle or milk carton, staple it into a ring and you can hang these outside in your trees. They will fair quite well outside even in the rain if you use plastic for the hat rim. #crochet #gnomes #christmasdecor #christmas

They are so cute Alison X 💖
Yippee 🥳 just love them must make them - Alison love your idea of making a bigger one for the front door. Once again a big thank you from us all
Omg I love them xxx so sweet 😘😍😍😍❤
Hi so cute 🥰
Happy Christmas Alison and your sister Charlotte too and wee pet Mudley 🥰🤩🌲🎉😍🥳
IF YOU DON'T HAVE GLUE... TIE YOUR POM POM BEARD WITH THE SAME COLOUR YARN AS YOUR HAT. THEN SEW IT UP INSIDE THE HAT. It will also be more secure too. You can Use ANY YARN for this. You can use plastic bottle strips stapled into a ring so you can hang these outside, They should fair well even in the rain.
Thanks for this tip top tip Alison as I don't have the glue at my own place 😜 only able to use it at my sister 🏠 need to put into me Santa 🎅 list tho I guess too late for this too 😅
Hopefully your on mend again now Alison 🥰
I really 💘 your channel ! Also I enjoy the sound of your voice, it's calming to me. You explain everything so well on your channel. You 🎸 !

Oh my goodness Alison, your gnomes are so adorable. Thank you for showing your subscribers how to do this, it's appreciated a lot.
Thank you so much!
Those little decorations was absolutely brilliant and so cute. They look fun to make, fun to watch too. Thank you Alison.
Cute package decorations as well! Thanks for the ideas!
Thanks so much! 😊
Oh my gosh. I crocheted some gnomes for Christmas. I used the styrofoam balls from Dollar Tree, crocheted around the balls, crocheted peak hats, made the beard from yarn like you, and used wooden beads for the noses. I stuffed the hats with poly fil and decorated the hats with small Christmas buttons.
Blessings and stay safe 🤗💐
Wow good👌👌👍🏻👍🏻👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you so much
I had so much fun watching you and listening to you make this adorable gnome.
Thank you, Allison specially the tip for bigger ones out of plastic bottles.
Those are adorable! I’m definitely going to make them for stocking stuffers. (All grown up kiddos here)👍
I have grandchildren. This will be a perfect holiday project for them to do. My floor won't think it's a perfect project , what with the yarn ends, but then my floor and I are at odds and have been for years with yarn " tail ends". My hoover isn't so pleased either!
These are so cute. Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a Merry Christmas.
So So cute thank you for sharing 🙏
You are so welcome
These little gnomes are so sweet! I made just the hats last year. I will be adding the beards and noses!
Sounds great!
Hi Allison, thank you for your video. I recently made one and your tutorial inspired me to make a mrs gnome with a pink pompon, White hair on both sides tied in to tails from a White bundle of yarn as from a pompon tied with a piece of yarn , glu it together first in the hat with the hair glued to the head, with a pink pompon as the nose under a hat on it. It look like a muppet Christmas couple.
Wonderful!
Brilliant tutorial using what you have nothing over the top or complicated I love it
Thanks so much 😊
Those are awesome
I think so too!
Luv these, absolutely adorable. Thnx for sharing!

That is how I always make my knots because when u loosen The strings they don’t come undone. My dad Taught me that years and years ago
my mum taught me
You can also use the kitchen roll inner tube you have at the end when empty and cut ✂️ to size and use xx
Sweet! And I really appreciate you sharing your method for tying the pompoms! Have always struggled with making them strong enough to last! The one double wrap that I've always used just wasn't enough! Thank you very much!
Glad it was helpful!
Class Alison, thank you for sharing this tutorial ❤ x x

Glad you like them!
Well Alison wish I could share photos of this crafting myself and my sister and niece did with yourself on the tv and us copying your wee Gnomes 😍🥳 Soo funny as I kept the toilet roll ends and mine was battered looking and the knots all over the place😂 However my niece was perfectly made and she kept saying to her mum we could do this for craft fairs!!🥰 I wasn’t included lol 😂 no co ordination for me Alison 😍 practice mode for me surely I shall have loads done by next Christmas 🤶🏼
You can use a fork to make a small pompom I use xx
i never thought of that Thanks Xxx
Alison, these are absolutely adorable. I love the way you made the pompoms, never saw the knot being made like that but I will be making them. They are actually selling these for two pounds a piece. Don't know if this will work for your siccors but try cutting tin foil over and over again. Best wishes from Belfast.
You are so welcome! i bought a new pair hahah i never thought of the tinfoil
Alison I got the yarn wool stuck to me new mobile!!

If you use toilet paper inserts think about what you were doing when you changed the tp. It can actually make you very sick for 1 to 2 weeks. It happened to me. Cut paper towel inserts instead and stay healthy.
