Can you just load 2x30 minutes videos, 1 for each deck and just keeping going back and forth for a 1 hour set? I wanna play like a horror movie clip for my Halloween set but don’t wanna load 1 clip per song.
Everytime you drop in a new track you will need to drop in a new clip to go with it. The only way around this would be to associate each track you are going to use to different parts of the movie. This will means you will need to pre edit and sync everything before hand. I did make a video about associating clips and tracks which might help you.

Why won't some of the video files show up in serato? It will play the audio but the video won't show
Hi Darnell, make sure you have the video option selected so your preview screens are showing. You will need to drop the audio into the turntable and the video into the preview window. Another option is to associate (pair) the video and audio together so you can drop a single file and they will both load up. I have made a video on how to do this you can find on my channel. If im using hdmi to my tv how do i still see my vj screen but bisuals are fullscreen on tv?
You shoud be abe to see you VJ screens in the Serato dashboard, if you can't try expanding that feature as you will be able to see left and right hand screens as well as your main output mix.

Serato Video supports a wide range of video formats, including popular ones like MP4, AVI, and MOV. It also has a built-in video player that lets you preview and cue videos before you play them in your set.
I have a Pioneer DDJ-SX3 controller. How do I output t the video to an external screen. Does the output go from my MAcbook....or my DJ Mixer/controller.
The output should be coming from your MacBook via HDMI. With a Mac you will need a external dongle to make it work. In my experience get a good one that will not come out when the hdmi cord has been connected and potentially pull on the dongle. I hope that helps and thanks for the comment. 🤛
can the video, being played, be looped/repeated during the entirety of a song? it would be nice not to have to make a video the same length as the song.
Yes it will just keep looping so you can even just use a short clip and have it repeat. It will do this automatically so you won't need to do anything. Just make sure your clips are cut tight so they loop from end to start again smoothly.
Hey there, is there a way to post video mixes on CZcams without getting shut down?
It really depends on the content you use, I have lots of video mixes I’ve recorded but cannot upload due to copyright. The only way around this would be to copyright check every song before recording. A very long process unfortunately.
What is the video out to the projector? Does your mixer have to have a video out?
Hey E H, the output for your video will come directly via your laptop via hdmi port. If you don’t have a hdmi output on your laptop you will be able to use an attachment to make it work. Hope this helps.

Hello where do you get more visual effect?
You can search for free VDJ visuals on CZcams and there are a ton, if you want something unique then try learning some editing software and chopping up your visuals yourself.
Can you make a slideshow instead of looping the video so it automatically loads and cross dissolves into the next video in the prepare box?
You can associate videos to the tracks in post, meaning you choose a track and visuals you want to be shown together. This way when you are mixing everytime you drop in that track the associated video will also automatically play. I have made a video about associating that might help on my channel.
How do I output the video from my mac to a TV ?
You will need to use a HDMI cord, being a Mac you will need to use a dongle to connect the HDMI directly to your laptop. My advice is to get a dongle that won’t be pulled or dragged out as the weight of the hdmi cord can disrupt the connection. I have had to experiment with different ones to see what works best. Good luck.

Have you tried double clicking on the centre of the external screen?
