    Setup
Make your pipette work the way you want. Choose a language, set intervals for service, place pipetting modes on the menu levels you want, and adjust sound, brightness, and more!
Joystick to Setup and joystick up to select it. On Sound Level, press in, then joystick up and down to adjust sound volume. Press in to set. Use the same controls to adjust Display Brightness.
Display Timeout is how long it takes before the screen dims whenever the pipette is not being used.
Sleep Timeout is the amount of time before the pipette turns off completely. Sixty minutes is the maximum setting.
Joystick down to the next page of settings and press in to set the time. Use the same controls to adjust the Date, the Time Format, and the Date Format if needed.
Then, joystick down to page three of settings. Press in to select Language. Available languages are English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese.
Press in on the Owner box to name the owner for your pipette. Joystick to letters and press the joystick to select them. You can also leave Owner blank. Press Done to exit.
Next to "Mode Levels," press the joystick on "Change." You can place pipetting modes on either of the two menu levels. When you're done, joystick down to the fourth and last page of settings.
Use this page to turn number-of-cycles or number-of-days alarms on or off, and to adjust the number of cycles or days. Pipettes are precision instruments that should be serviced and calibrated regularly. In regulated labs, standard operating procedure typically mandates servicing pipettes after a fixed number of cycles or days.
