Adding in the electric guitar really makes this kind of dubstep brutal. Its a sound you cant really fake with a synth.
I honestly never cared for this song until I heard Excision play it live. It was honestly so powerful that I thought that at like 0:12 was the drop. Life-changing.

I have been listening to excision for around 2 years now, and its so cool to see how he has evolved and developed musically and produced better music, and even his album artwork is getting cooler lol
I have never heard a musician or artist or even audio experts say the term "Brostep". This music is basically one genre with tons of different styles (and often has other genres mixed in). Who cares if it has changed a bit from the original UK Dubstep. Music evolves over periods of time. Dubstep could sound completely different in a decade, who knows? Dubstep has variety. That's why I like it.

You need to listen to this on a proper set of monitors and a good sub. Not headphones. Headphones are good for acoustic music and pop, not bass music like this. I would take a bullet for a sick drop as well, and that's why I listen to this on my sub with the volume cranked to hell and back. Or even better, you should consider going to see Excision live. I myself have a too busy schedule to go with school and stuff. But I've seen other live shows, and they make headphones sound like a broken music box.

Is it just me or does it feel like it was cut off before it ended? It had that build up, im thinking "The epic final drop is coming!" aaaaaaand it ends. It was a great song just feels too short.
Sounds like this was only meant to be a preview. Excision's tracks are usually 4 or 5 minutes, so it's only half.
They repeat anyways, with the second section kinda being a mini-VIP of the first. I won't say you're not missing out if you don't listen to it all, though, 'cause you are.
