Sometimes you watch a movie and the similarity to your reality leaves you speechless. This was one of those movies. I am only able to leave this comment 12 hours later. If you find yourself in this situation with your family, the first step to freedom is believe it. When people show you where they've placed you believe them even if it's your mom. Because at first you will go through the shock of unbelief where you cant bring your self to believe they they are really doing it. But when the actions remain consistent in a direction. Believe it and choose you. In the end we are the ones who teach everyone including family how to treat us!

I wouldn’t have even made it to a marriage with this weak man. The first disrespectful encounters with that crazy family were enough for me. It would’ve been a hard NO for me. Let him have his toxic family while I enjoy my life with someone who can appreciate and defend me and set appropriate boundaries.

Nice and educational movie. Families especially african ones should learn when to interfere in their relatives marriages and when not to. Greed and control is endemic in the african society. I have been watching nollywood films for a very long time and I have seen Eso Dikeh in a few movies so I take it that he's new on the block. Dapper, polished, very well spoken, good acting he will do well in the industry. Good acting from the other actors as well. Production team great job. Thanks for this.

The ending was perfect. Chidi’s siblings and mum were the cancer in his life. They would have made the home toxic for his child. I love the way Theresa left to take care of herself while Chidi came back to his senses. That space is needed sometimes to let men get back to factory setting and figure out how they want to lead their homes.

I love the end but the Soldier part is a little extreme hahaha,I don't need military to chase people like this,I go tidy themselves.
