Maybe a dumb question but I will ask it anyway. Does the wedge concept work when calling tags on second and third? The base, hip of the catcher.
Yes, but you can't really get the angle to do it properly from B or C. One instance you can try it is with nobody on and a clean triple. Take the play at third from foul territory, like you would a play at the plate.
