That's a very helpful video as many are under the impression that it plugs-into one of the double cluster wire on top of the actual servo connector.
I've installed a DUC-EE as well. However, unconfirmed revelation suggests that the exhaust valve only closes when in neutral.
If true, that would make the DUC-EE useless for sound or performance. It would only be useful for preventing the valve from corroding shut or partly closed.

Art Mchugh , I have decided on the GPR Furore ( add in Italy), with the 2-1 decat mid pipe. It seems to get good reviews and is a good value. When looking at the Leo Vince and Spark mid-pipes, they seem to cost almost as much as the full GPR system. Awaiting delivery now!

I finally got around to doing this on my 2016 PP. I didn't bother with a before/after video, but I can say that there's a clear audible difference here above 4K RPM, sounds more throaty and less wheezy. Removing the cat will completely change the sound profile, and this mod gets you a little closer to that profile since decat removes the servo. So I'd say it's worth it, as a foolproof cut and dry mod to your bike. Will it increase performance? No, not really. this is more for the audio gains IMHO.

Thanks for the clear instruction. I have a question about the driver seat. I have the Seat in the high position. When I put the front of the seat in the guide, the back of the seat is too high and doesn’t rest on it’s points. It moves a fair bit when I take place on the seat. I need to flex the seat to allow a proper fit. It only seems to fit with the 2 front guides on top of the plastic slots, but then my seat is basically loose and anyone can take it off. Is your seat the same ?? Thanks.

Great video. I heard the gizmo doesn't work on the DVT multistrada. I take it all ok? The other point is my multi DVTs flapper valve tends to seize up. So recommended you apply some grease to keep it moving should anyone want to return it to standard. So annoying when it throws the check light. Have to lube it do 50 miles to release and check light goes off.

Just take off the foot heat shield and the valve mechanism is right there. Unscrew the 10mm nut holding the cable on the bracket then close the valve and remove the hammer from the where is seats....complete. The valve is sprung open to it will stay that way. Now no valve closing and no engine light. These plugs in are not needed. Worked just fine on my 2019 PP

    Hello. Interesting video.
Q1. Where I can get the detail drawing you have shown pls?!
Not sure if I want to install the emulator. My flap valve stack last summer, under warranty they cleaned and reset the fault lamp. Now is stack again, expired warranty a month ago and I was requested £90 to clean it again!
Q2. Once I clean the valve and I see it open, I believe the fault lamp would stay on. Do you know I to remove it (not in permanent way, as it may report if happen again)
    Thanks in advanced

The Duc.ee emulates the flap function so the computer always thinks the valve is working even though in reality it's stuck open and never moving. Here's the link to the parts diagram - issuu.com/desmoworks/docs/2016-mts1200s?e=1887458/12417803
