I really hate whatever Activision did to these games . Combining all the Disc campaigns, multiplayer into some Warzone hub . If I own the disc , I should be able to play THAT game , instead of all these weird workarounds. Make Warzone a separate thing

Same here. I usually buy Call of Duty games for cheap as I just play the campaign for a shorter game to play between some of my longer games. But doing all of this in hopes of playing the campaign wasn't going to be worth the effort.

I've played cod my whole life mainly and I loved COD mw campaigns and with the "new" cod mw2 coming out I wanted to replay all of the campaign before it released, I got to play them all again accept this one cause it still isn't working. COD is really falling off. Their last good game in My opinion was WW2 2019. One of my favorite campaigns and I enjoy the multiplayer

You're a legend. MW is on another level compared to Vanguard and Cold War.
Vanguard is actually really good it’s just like mw id suggest it if you are looking for a new game
I have both of them I just find the level of polish and care in MW a step above.

Treason for a gay relationship with the enemy, re-chambering cheap, last-ditch guns, fiery ammunition, a squad of superheroes in the terrors of the war, ridiculous weapon attachments- this really shows the studio is running dry on ideas and wants to milk the players out of their money as much as they can.
I have a PS5 and this has saved me 5 hour installs for deleting all of MW. Big thank you.

“FIX” if you’re using the game by game share you have to go on the account that owns the game and download the packs for there. I hope this helps

A bug people mostly don't consider for the disc users, the Multiplayer pack. So the first one will not show up on that download list because its on the disc saved itself. Once i manged to glitch it free by accident by removing my primary options and got kicked while I was in the game.

Hey brother I’m having a similar issue. I have all the packs installed. It won’t let me access the multiplayer portion of the game but allows me too play campaign but when I play campaign there’s times when I hit a check point and the game will freeze then crash completely. There’s no game icon on the main menu of the ps4 so too access the game I have too open war zone and select MW too play. If you or anyone knows what could be causing this issue or have a link that I may use too get further guidance too resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it!
i have a similar issue but verything beaides multiplayer works. i did everything and nothing has worked. Like deleteing and re adding every pack, redoing that but deleteing the game and reinstalling everything deteing the save data, creating a new account, nothing worked

Just delete the game and reinstall the multiplayer packs.. don’t need to do the campaign or special ops pack! Finally worked for me
I cant open the Game Installs, if i try an error message „Shop is currently unavailable“ pops up immediately. It also dosent work to try download the Addons from the Library.. I can download and install them, but as soon as i restart the game, it has deleted the addons which i just downloaded.
Do you know how i can fix this? (Having this Error since MW2 was launched)
If y’all are game sharing Modern warfare go to the person’s account that you are game sharing with and go to library and click modern warfare and go to add ons and install the ones you need worked for me( my issue was I had all the packs downloaded on my account then I did that and it worked currently playing multiplayer

THIS METHOD WORKS FOR ME FOR DIGITAL VERSION...
1. Delete Call of Duty: Warzone and disconnect your console from the internet.
If your game comes on a disc, take it out.
Turn off the PS4 or PS5 completely.
2. Once your console is off, hold the power button for a few seconds until you hear the 2nd beep. You’ll be ushered into a new boot-up menu.
3. You’ll need to connect your controller with a wire for this step. After you’ve done that, scroll down to the Rebuild Database option and select it.
4. Continue forward and let the console do its thing. This will not delete your games or saved files so you don’t need to worry about anything.
5. When everything is done, you can insert your disc again and it’ll start copying over your files and installing them.
6. Once the game is fully installed, highlight the game and scroll down to select add-ons.
7. Now check every add-on and they’ll start downloading in the background.
8. After you’ve installed and downloaded them, boot up your game and you should be good to go.
After that I tried to install campaign mode to play the campaign mode i downloaded all required campaign data files and finally now i can play the story mode...

I can't play because whenever I install the add-ons they automatically delete themselves whenever I open the game. It's so annoying, I've reinstalled the add-ons 3 times and wasted 5 hours of my time.

For some reason, no matter where I look, I'm missing a few installation packs. I can't find them in the store, or in the add ons section. Right now I only have 5 packs available. My achievements are also all gone, and even though I have the game installed, it says "Purchase" when I go to the PS Store, instead of "Installed". I restored liscences but that didn't fix it. I just re installed the game, so I don't think deleting it will work. Multiplayer is the only one with problems. I can still play Special Ops and Campaign. I'm on PS4.
Gonna piggyback off of this... not all the same multiplayer packs are available to download... so nothing to Install, can't fix it. :/

@CrownedRaptor alr mine works now just delete warzone/mw which ever one you have and then redownload only multiplayer
@CrownedRaptor delete it then put the disc in it should download the base game along with multiplayer pack 1 well that’s what it did for me, plus MW is kinda broken most of the time it crashes and freezes it’s a known bug to the community for console so I’d wait till it’s resolved.

Okay so many people have been having this problem even me, this message is for the people who can't download from the library or the downloads or even by restoring liscenes. The disc players only have to look at the back of the Game case and check for which region its made from or whatever and make a new playstation network account according to the same region and open the disc from that account and let download from same account (I didn't leave that account at all till it was downloaded) mine had Arabic on back and front so I put it to Saudia Arabia and just right now about 30 minutes ago I was able to download it

Anyone else getting an issue on ps5 whereby you'll be in the middle of a public game and it will just randomly black screen? Sound fades away and nothing happens unless you go back to homepage and close the application? Literally haven't been able able complete a single online game yet due to this happening since the last update 😕

I had it, back up ur game save data to the cloud. Turn off the ps. Hold power button until u hear 2 beeps. Select initialize PS. You’ll have to reinstall the game and it’s packs. But there will be no errors and u can play for days.
Tbh, just deleted the game from my library, was already 200gb odd with a further 105gb update, for a game that was not playable.
I used to have that problem for my PS4 too, though it happened on offline play too. Don't know why it happened, but when the game updated, it fixed the problem.
Am i the Only one that has all the packs installed and still has the error??

Yeah its effecting like 90% of console players just have to wait for a fix update hopefully soon ..the caldera update messed up mw big time

Ok guys it’s this simple..go to Library and then go to add ons, if some of them are not installed on there then that’s the problem..if they’re all installed then uninstall all of them and install them again, if it’s still not working delete the game and go to MW on the app store and download from there..if you’re game sharing then you have to do it on their account
@IshidaAMVS that’s literally solutions for every single situation, if u redos load the game and it’s still not working then that means your ps4 hard drive or cpu is fucked and corrupts files while downloading
@IshidaAMVS yea but but re-downloading the game also restores the licenses for the game, so even if u re downloaded the game it woulda worked cause the licenses would automatically restore cause the licenses delete with the game

You must download all the packs while the game is open unfortunately. It is the only way for them to install properly. It's ridiculous
