silk painting with transparent and opaque colors | How to paint chiffon fabric

I created this video for silk painters interested in blending silk paints with acrylics. This video offers valuable insights for those exploring the art of silk painting, where experimentation plays a vital role, regardless of the outcome.
I've personally used both brands on chiffon and have employed this technique numerous times in silk painting. It yields a long-lasting effect for fabric or silk painting.
An essential tip is to adjust the opacity by adding water as needed. To achieve thinner colors, add more water to the paint, and for thicker paints, use less water. Please watch the video attentively to gain a step-by-step understanding of silk painting with silk paints and opaque acrylics.

Beautiful,but one doubt when acrylic colour or fabric colour is added can we press from both sides,because in with fabric colours we iron only on backside.

Do not apply so much water on silk . If your fabric is overflow in that case your gutta will start to dissolve or spread. Less water will not damage the gutta outline. Dont worry if the water touches the gutta outline, but gutta must be dried.

Can we use fabric paints instead of silk paint in silk fabric.

You can use it, but fabric paints make your silk stiff because fabric paints make a thick layer on the surface. Due to fabric paints, the shine of silk also diminishes

Yes, you can use it. But silk paints dull after a few washes if you used on cotton. Yes, you make the outline with gutta, but thereno need to outline for painting just to make the painting beautiful

Select your brush according to the area where you want to apply the colour. Small brush for small area big for big area

If you are using acrylics on organza, in that case, acrylic paints will peel off. But acrylics will not be removed from other fabrics.
