Did I miss where to run the wire from the lights to under the hood?

How was this step skipped over?????
He just moved on like that wire just hides itself
This video need to be redone

Yeah. They left that part out. Probably because you have to drill i to the vehicle and they know people may not want their product if they tell bow how it has to be installed.

This is what I’ve noticed about these guys on a few things I’ve purchased. I’m not thrilled at them for hiding the more “scary stuff”. I can drill a hole but tell me where. A let down for sure

I ran the wiring down the front of the windshield on the driver side and into the engine compartment under the plastic piece by the mirror. I removed their switch and hooked the blue wire from that harness up to the #3 switch. The important part to realize here is that you need to use thier relay that is in their harness and hook everything up to the battery directly and just use the Aux switch to turn it on and off. I realize I am running it through 2 different relays (the Aux one isn't high enough to run through by itself unless you use the #1 30amp). I figure if it goes bad then I will troubleshoot both relays if it comes to that. The biggest issue is the soft top flapping like hell. It has made it undrivable and I put on the zroadz wind deflector. that stopped the whistle from the light bar but the flapping is even worse. I will be mounting the light to the bumper now. Just have to figure out brackets for it to push it out far enough. not my favorite options other than throwing it out.

So the directions also skip what to do with this brick that clearly attaches to something. If I was a mechanic I wouldn’t need to watch these videos so if they aren’t going to be complete why post these videos at all?

I have installed this light on a softtop -- it causes the softtop to flap and Rough Country needs to offer a higher mount similar to the one offered by Ford Performance. I Also need to add the AeroLid to stop the whistling -- I'm currently running with the light pointed at the hood to stop some of the flapping

I hate to say it but this was the least informative video you guys have done. How did u get power to the lightbar? Where did u run the wiring? Usually a very good source for how to info, this one was way off. I have the aux switches whic is completely different but the main thing i wanted to see was the wiring and as far as installation, i think thats what everyone wants to see. Missed the mark on this one.

      This video was completely useless
Why would he skip that one necessary part?

Also the cable on the light is about 3’ long. In this video (after skipping most crucial step) he shows connecting the two cables near the battery. Mine won’t even stretch close to the engine forcing me to connect near my steering wheel.

@@TockeyMike1973 i watched that video then i found another video with the exact same footage under the hood. They just pieced it together to sell a few more light bars.

How do you blend the cord with windshield

If you have aux switches is it possible to hook into that or does it have to run to the battery and switch?

Anybody ever figure out how to use the AUX switches with this thing? I'm wondering if I have to slice the cable that's on the LED bar and wire it in at the top?

Good god a total amateur job. No mention of using the ford factory switch’s . Might as well just bought a Jbox and a 110 home light switch and throw the mess in the floor board

They didn't show how they routed the wire from the top of the cab to the firewall when they go in the windshield how do they hook up the wire what a useless explanation on how it goes
