► Ingredients
2 cups dried hibiscus flower.
2 lemons
5 oranges
4 apples
Some grapes
500g grated ginger
500g pineapple
1 piece aidan fruit(pr3k3s3 totally optional)
1 tsp black peppercorn(3soro wisa)
2 tbsp cloves(p3pr3)
2 tsp grains of Selim(hwentea)
4 ltrs water.
1 cup honey(you can substitute with sugar)

No preservatives dear. You just have to store it in the refrigerator and if you make a lot, you can store the excess in the freezer for up to 6 months!
Here in Gambia we don't put all this fruits to it just the pineapple cover and ginger put in rubber and allow to freeze
Same in Ghana but this is my own touch and makes it so so delicious 🤤

They go well with this recipe my dear. It doesn’t make it bitter at all. The sorrel itself is a bit tangy as well that’s why I add honey in the end 🤗

Nice recipe but brown sugar is not healthy, it’s molasses added to white sugar to give it the brown colour so it’s more dangerous. Good honey or natural sweeteners like Xylitol, monk fruit and Erithymol in moderation is a better alternative.
